Urban Minimalist Wedding Inspiration with metallic & botanical aspects

Today I am thrilled to welcome Carmela Weddings to share some gorgeous Urban Minimalist Wedding Inspiration with metallic & botanical aspects. Carmella Weddings are Lisa and Sam, a husband and wife force. They believe no wedding should be just about the girl’s perspective and offer a fresh outtake by offering both male and female input on the wedding day. The “Real Thing” – A Coke Themed Wedding Moodboard, styling and ideas

When you meet the “One” you know it’s the “Real Thing” so today I would love to share some inspiration and styling for a Coke themed Wedding. Coca Cola is the stuff of legend, a delight that many enjoy and which goes down very well on an all too rare warm Scottish summer day. So with this in mind, combining my love of Weddings and my love of the brand (in particular Diet Coke) I present some ideas to help inspire your own celebration. Red and white with a wee hint of silver can make a striking contrast and as a Wedding palette can work really well. Its a blend...

Pantone colour of the Year 2016 – Rose Quartz & Serenity – Moodboard and Styling

Today it gives me great pleasure to share an insight into the beautiful Pantone Colour hues that will inspire and influence Weddings this coming year. There has been most definetely a softer take on colour for 2016, and I think the chosen shades are perfect for Spring celebrations. I have brought together a moodboard and some styling suggestions to give you some tips on how to implement the colours in your Big Day.       For the first time, the blending of two shades – Rose Quartz and Serenity have been chosen as the PANTONE Colour of the Year. As consumers seek mindfulness and well-being as an antidote to modern day...

“Frost” ~ A Winter Wedding Theme Moodboard and styling ideas

Today it gives me great pleasure to share “Frost” – a  delicate Winter Wedding Theme Moodboard and styling ideas for an icy, snowy inspired day. The colour palette suggested for this wedding or party theme would be white, silver or grey or elements of them all.     To set the scene of your wintery big day an event space that is a blank like a marquee, a large hall or spacious room could be transformed with some imaginative drapery. Lighting plays a key role and twinkle lights in the marquee or hall ceiling would give the impression of the wonderful wintery night sky. Clever use of uplighters  or speciality...

Grace and Majesty – A Peacock inspired Wedding with rich jewel tones.

Today I would love to embrace the majesty of  the graceful Peacock and incorporate it into a beautiful Peacock inspired Wedding moodboard. I have long loved these stunning birds,  the presecnce they have and especially their gorgeous rich colouring. The Pallette used to style a Peacock Inspired Wedding would be shades of purple, blue, green, gold and teal with peacock feather  used to accent.     As a prelude to your Event, Wedding stationery in the tones, possibly with a peacock feather motif could be sent to your Guests and this can be followed through with On the Day stationery. For the Bride a full on gown of Peacock feather...
