A pretty Winnie the Pooh inspired Engagement Shoot in Leeds

Today I am thrilled to share this pretty Winnie the Pooh inspired Engagement Shoot in Leeds.

Images were captured by Anna Wood Photography.

Anna Wood is a Portrait and Wedding photographer in Bradford, Huddersfield and Leeds, West Yorkshire.

She has been shooting professionally since 2011, and can’t imagine doing anything else.

Her photography is inspired by the colours and tones of the British seaside. She likes the greys and blues of the horizon, and the muted tones of the seafront.

She also likes a splash of colour, like the sort you would find in beach huts or a jazzy stick of rock. The tones of Kodak film replicate these in her work.

Human emotion is at the centre of all that she does.

She believes that our ability to love and be loved is astounding, and she wants to document that to create physical memories.

Anna says of the couple and their shoot…

“I love being a wedding photographer in Leeds and I literally could not imagine a better job.”

“I have some of the most unique weddings, thanks to my awesome and creative couples.”

“Beth and Sam’s Huddersfield wedding is no exception as it is inspired by Winnie the Pooh.”

“When it came to their engagement shoot, we decided we would all like to get creative.”

“I asked them to dress in red and yellow, and provided balloons in the opposite colours.”

“We had so much fun playing around with them! Then we headed to a friends field to play with some smoke grenades in – you guessed it – red and yellow! ”

“Beth and Sam were absolutely amazing and I am delighted with the results.”

Thank you to Anna for sharing this pretty winnie the pooh inspired engagement shoot.

The woodland setting  and the use of subtle colour is a lovely hint at the theme.
