Farm Life – A Cotswold Engagement Shoot – Images by CKB Photography

Today I am thrilled to welcome the lovely Charlie of CKB Photography and to share the beautiful Cotswold Engagement Shoot of Lorah and Samuel shot on Over Farm in Gloucestershire.

CKB Photography is Wedding and Family Photography by Charlie Kingsland-Barrow covering Cheltenham and the Cotswolds, Gloucestershire, Wiltshire, Oxfordshire, and London area.

Charlie creates dreamy, beautiful images to capture those precious moments, and is inspired by love, romance, light, and Old Hollywood movies.

Charlie says of the couple and the shoot,

“Lorah and Samuel made me so happy when they booked my Wedding Photography.  They are of course, young and gorgeous, (which makes my job easy)! and getting married at a very cute venue, but aside from this I love Lorah and Samuel for a few other reasons.”

“They are both very young – Lorah is in her very early 20′s which really is so young to get married, but in a way I am very envious of this. They have their entire lives to look forward to together – no messing about with other people who may or may not be right for them – they have found a true and deep love which I have no doubt will last a lifetime.”

“As a Christian couple, it is not really that unusual to get married at a younger age than average age of the general population, and I think that’s a beautiful thing.  Learning and growing together.  I pray that God blesses their marriage and future together.”

“Their Cotswold engagement session was lots of fun, and took place at the wonderful Over Farm Market.”

” We decided on this venue for an engagement shoot as it is right around the corner from their wedding venue – we thought that it would be somewhere different while still retaining that Cotswold feel.”

Over Farm is a wonderful place.  It is sort of an overgrown farm shop selling all sorts of amazing produce – from the sprouts that were in abundance all over their own fields when we visited, to homemade cakes, and local cheeses, meats, and beers – as well as little gifts – like the absolutely beautiful dried lavender heart.”

“I don’t really like to take ‘props’ along to shoots as that feels a little too contrived for my liking; I love to use whatever is around us, and Over Farm definitely provided lots of unusual details.”
