The Edinburgh Wedding Fair – Making new Connections.

Today I was delighted to be invited as a Blogger and a guest at the Edinburgh Wedding Fair at the Corn Exchange in Edinburgh.

I received an incredibly warm welcome, and exceptionally nice tea and cake, and had the wonderful opportunity to meet the best in the East.

Being from Glasgow I know that area’s vendors very well, but it was wonderful to put faces to names of people from the East Coast I have been talking to in the Cyber World (some for a few years).

The Edinburgh Wedding fair has been running bi-annually at the Corn Exchange since 2003. It has grown to become the largest must attend event for Brides and Grooms in the East of Scotland.

To celebrate the 10th anniversary of the fair, the Edinburgh Corn Exchange are offering one lucky couple the chance to Win their Wedding Reception , and other wedding day essentials and luxuries to the value of £7,000, and this can be entered at the E.C.E stand at the Fair.

I blogged a few weeks ago about the amazing inclusions within this prize.

With over 130 exhibitors there are Dresses to die for, creative cakes and fabulous flowers plus of course venues, stationery, jewellery and more with multitudes of talented companies exhibiting to match different ideas, themes and budget.

That is a whole lot of  invaluable knowledge, and great choice for East of Scotland Brides and Grooms.

No matter what stage you are at, from just engaged and starting to plan, or with the big day approaching and looking for the last few touches there is something for every bride and groom.

Their bespoke Wedding Fair & Fashion Show features an ’exclusive collection’ of Scotland’s leading bridalwear, kilts, jewellery, hair and make up too.

The Fair is a 2 day extravaganza with a very successful Day 1  just coming to a close.

I share a few photographs of my time there today (please excuse my questionable photography).

I was so privileged to meet some old friends and make some fabulous new connections and contacts which is always great for the Brides and Grooms that I work with.

I want to say a huge thank you to Nicole, Amanda and Erica of the Corn Exchange and Edinburgh Wedding Fair team who were so helpful and attentive and made attending the Fair a joy, and an experience I look forward to repeating.

Tommorow you have another opportunity to be inspired once more with Sunday entry from 11am until 4.30pm and Fashion shows at 12pm, 2pm and 3.45pm……Enjoy!
