I’m Grateful For……A Thought for Today

Today I am grateful….

Culture-of-Gratefulness[1]

Grateful for the opportunity of coming to London to be part of a wonderful celebration of our great Wedding industry….The Wedding Ideas Awards.

I don’t think you can ever prepare yourself for how immense and overwhelming the Awards experience is.

You can picture it in your head, or from awards you have seen on the TV, but until you are actually there, you can’t actually comprehend the massiveness of it all.

But it is so much fun and I can’t wait for my big night out on which will be my 3rd attendance at the Awards.

Grateful to those who have faith in me and who gave me a very important role and restored my self belief that I can make a difference…

The call to be Judge came at one of the scariest and most challenging times of my life and I can honestly say that it was one of the reasons I got through the other side.

(Thank you Wedding Ideas Herd..I love you).

Grateful for the chance to see old friends and meet new ones.

Anyone who knows me knows I can chat the hind legs off a donkey so the chance to meet up with the cream of our industry and so many fabulous people who I really miss all year is great.

Grateful for the rest and time out I most definetely need.

I work hard and I probably (well definetely) don’t get enough me time and time alone with just my husband so my 4 day break is really enjoyed.

Grateful for being returned nearly to full health after a fair few weeks and months of poorliness.

After breast cancer scares, a potential asthma diagnosis and a horrible cold and sinusitis over the festive season I am finally starting to feel better ( with a wee bit of help from antibiotics) and I hope this recovery continues.

Grateful for each new day !
