On Tuesday I was thrilled to share the Scottish Destination Wedding of Jen and Terry at Dalhousie Castle near Edinburgh, captured beautifully by Jonathon Fowler.

Jonathon Fowler is an Edinburgh based wedding photographer and videographer.

Dalhousie Castle which  dates from the 13th century and is a beautiful setting for a Big Day.
Set in its own grounds, the castle boasts its own private chapel where you can have your wedding rings delivered by an owl!
Jen and Terry had travelled from Thunder Bay in Canada to be married at the Castle.

On Wednesday it was my great pleasure to feature a lovely Guest post from Alison Groves on how she achieved the perfect complexion, and how Arbonne can help get your skin in tip top shape for your Big Day.

Alison Groves is a Wedding Photographer based in Manchester who covers the North East and West of England. She describes her style of Photography as very relaxed and natural, bringing out the real you.

Along side this Alison is now a convert and consultant for Arbonne and she shares how a skin care product has made a big difference in her life, and what it can do for your skin.

There is also a wee GIVEAWAY of Arbonne products – see log for details.

On Thursday morning I was thrilled to share a Gatsby Glamour sneak peek at the latest Gowns of Designer Sabina Motasem and her collaboration with Accessories Designer Kelly Spence.

Coinciding with the cinema release, a Great Gatsby inspired bridal fashion show was held by the pair at London’s Waldorf Hotel recently.

The event was an opportunity for wedding industry folk to have an exclusive sneak peek of Sabina Motasem’s elegant dresses and Kelly Spence’s exquisitely designed hair accessories and veils.

The models were given a 20s look with a modern twist with hair styled beautifully by Johanna Irving of Lovehair and flawless make up by Ana Ospina.

Guests were treated to goody bags filled with ivory feather boas, beautiful art deco inspired decorated cookies in gold & Tiffany blue from Anais’s Sweet Boutique and divine canapés.
The evening was photographed by Cristina Rossi, a highly respected wedding photographer and the venue was styled with beautiful Gatsby inspired flowers of pinks and creams from Wildabout Flowers.

On Thursday afternoon I was delighted to share a Guest post from Bridal Eyewear by Karen Louise to show you how you can walk  down the aisle in gorgeous spectacle style and not in a  blur.

There are lots of options for eyesight correction for your Big Day, but if you or any of the Wedding Party have to or love glasses then Karen Louise shows you some elegant eyewear to accentuate your Big Day style.

On Friday we were beset with some technical issues on the Blog so it was time for a wee bit downtime to refresh and enjoy a little bit of the sunshine.

On Saturday the gorgeous blue hues of the sky inspired me to introduce to you some idea’s for a Nautical wedding theme.

The fact that I have just enjoyed a  picnic at the coast has also heavily influenced my thought in the creation of this theme.

The primary colour of  navy blue is an elegant and easily achieveable colour pallette to start creating your look.

To round off my roundup I share a wee personal pic.

This is my family yesterday when we were at Largs, a wee coastal resort about an hours drive from Glasgow.

It was an unimaginably sunny day with tropical temperatures and even in the hussle and bussle  there was an utter sense of calm.

The day was about picnics and ice creams and escaping the challenges and enjoying each other as a family and thats really needed sometimes to refresh you batteries.

Work is important BUT family is who you do it for (well at least I do).

Those 3 people are my world and I would do anything for them and thats why I work so hard on my Business and the Blog  to make sure I give them the best I can.

I hope you savoured your Cuppa, and this round up of the Week on the  MrsPandP Sunday Cuppa (Wedding Blog Catch Up).

I  look forward to sharing many more lazy Sunday Mornings with you.

Love MrsPandP x
