Good Morning, and welcome to Mrs P and P’s Sunday Morning Cuppa Wedding Blog Catch up.
Its been a busy week with proposals to bring together, lots of admin and some delicious features to prepare.
Having a lovely relaxing few days in Dundee to recharge the batteries but today want to look back and re – visit the fabulousness that has adorned the pages of the Wedding Blog this week.
To kick off an amazing week I was excited to share a stunning Colour Pop DIY Wedding with elegant touches held in a Secret Garden.
The couple, Keedy and Carl adopted a ‘DIY’ approach to their wedding, with elegant creative touches, and outstanding attention to detail.
Images of the day were captured by Mark Pugh Photography.
On Monday afternoon I was delighted to introduce Charlotte Mills Bridal Footwear.
8 years ago at University Charlotte created a bridal footwear range, for her final degree show and this is where her dream began.
Charlotte’s long term goal was to concentrate exclusively on designing bridal footwear but she needed to gain industry experience before her dream could be realised,
Fast forward and that time is now.
On Tuesday Morning I was practically giddy to share the beautiful Austrian Wedding of our intrepid travellers, Alex and Lisa of 2 People 1 Life.
You can practically smell the fresh mountain air, and if you listen really hard you can almost hear the distant yodelling.
Images of the day were by Stefano Lunardi.
On Tuesday afternoon I was delighted to introduce Its my Magazine, a way to capture life stories and present it within your own personalised magazine.
They create everything from It’s My Baby to It’s My Wedding as everyone has a tale to be told.
In the style of a luxury magazine your love story unfolds with interviews, guests profiles and much more.
On Wednesday morning it was my pleasure to introduce the fantastic Enchanting Cake Company, specialists in creating beautiful bespoke cakes for your special occasion.
On Wednesday afternoon I was excited to share an incredible Lord of the Rings Inspired Wedding Day with fantastic DIY Elements.
The fantastic floral arrangements which provided such amazing theming to the day were created by Clare at the Traditional Vintage Flower company.
On Thursday morning I was thrilled to share the lovely York Engagement Shoot of Anna and Liam captured beautifully by the Colin Murdoch Studio.
The historic city of York is stunning with fantastic architecture and a delightful tangle of little streets and is the perfect place to make some memories.
On Thursday afternoon I was delighted to welcome Vashi.com with some interesting survey results, and surprising news on Engagement Etiquette.
Apparently 52 percent of UK women would contribute to their engagement ring if it meant getting their dream ring.
On Friday I was thrilled to introduce Samantha Walden, creator of historically inspired headdresses and tiaras.
Designer Samantha has an enduring passion for history; in particular the history of fashion.
Her years as a researcher at English Heritage have helped inspire her exciting and original hair accessories for formal and bridal wear.
Friday was rounded off by not 1 but 2 amazing happenings.
1st up I reached the momentous achievement of being No.1 UK Wedding Tweeter for 2 whole years and 2nd I had the most unexpected phone call to say I was a finalist for an award – Best Wedding Planner (South West region) st the Scottish Wedding Awards.
Not too shabby for Ali!
I hope you savoured your Cuppa, and this round up of the Week on the MrsPandP.com Wedding Blog.
I look forward to sharing many more lazy Sunday Mornings with you.
