Today I am really honoured to share their Wedding Day of Kathryn and Peter, captured on film by the brilliant Lee Brown.
Lee Brown is a reportage wedding photographer who is Cheshire based but covers the North West, Greater Manchester, Lancashire, Yorkshire and Derbyshire .
His background is in fine art after gaining a degree in photography at university in Manchester, and he uses this along with a very natural approach when covering weddings.
Lee describes the couples day as one of the most quirky but lovely days he has photographed,
“Kathryn and Peter had just started university together in Manchester and also decided to marry in the same year, talk about pressure!”
“They also decided to make much of the decorations, button holes, favors, even the bouquet!! and much more as Kathryn also runs her own craft blog, Miss Pixies Crafts“
[You can catch up with Wedding behind the scenes on Kathryn’s Blog]
“I spent a lovely morning with Kathryn, her family, friends and Emily, the hippest, bow-tied feline in the neighborhood!”
“Before making our way to Bulie Hill Park Hall in North Manchester, where Peter was waiting with more family and friends.”
“Kathryn was escorted down the aisle by her handsome little brother.”
“Their service took place on stage with two very moving reading from Peters mum and one of Kathryns best friends.”
“We then had a lovely walk around the grounds of the hall for a few portraits before jumping straight onto the bouncy castle before the kids took over.”
“After the wedding breakfast, Kathryn had prepared her own speech along with her uncle and best friend Kel.”
“However Peter had a surprise in store and after an introduction from Kel, stood to speak sending a ripple of shock, laughter and tear through the room.”
“He also bore the news that Kathryn was so desperate to hear, the destination of their honeymoon. Peter handed her an envelope and
Kathryn let out a cry of delight as the letter described her dream destination, Disneyland in Florida!”
“After a few more bounces on the castle, Kathryn and Peter cut their cake before dancing to a Savage Garden classic, Crash and Burn.“
I love the energy behind this wedding, you can feel the love like electricity and sizzling emotion.
The Bride is extremely talented and all the accessories, bouquet and favours are beautiful.
I also love the dolly mixtures on the cake. Its amazing that something so simple can make something look so brilliant.
Thank you to Lee for capturing such special images and sharing them with us.
