“Fun at the Fairground” – Drayton Manor Wedding Styled Shoot with a Vintage Twist

Today I am absolutely giddy to share this amazing styled shoot showing you how fantastic a Drayton Manor Wedding could be, and showcasing the talents of some incredible Staffordshire Wedding Suppliers.

One theme park, five willing models and lots of hard work from talented and creative wedding suppliers blended together made the melting pot of which this fun and vibrant wedding shoot evolved.

The aim of the shoot was to enable Drayton Manor to showcase their unique wedding venue using stylish, progressive and customer focused wedding suppliers who are passionate about providing an amazing product and service to wedding couples.

The experienced and helpful wedding and hospitality team at Drayton Manor supplies a first class service from start to finish to make each couples wedding ideas a reality and make their special day one to truly remember.

Working with Ed and Victoria (Ed Brown Photography), and after many discussions of what the venue could do to showcase how individual every couples wedding can be, decided that the “Fun at the Fairground” with a vintage twist, inspired shoot was a great way forward.

The extremely talented and friendly Celebration cakes of Tamworth provided stunning cup cakes that were perfect for the fun theme, a fantastic place to contact for any up and coming celebration. They taste amazing!

Absolutely fantastic bunches of coloured balloons and impactful huge gold helium balloons spelling LOVE were supplied by Diamanté weddings who also offers a wonderful venue decoration service.

Victoria and Lisa of the award winning Cicily Bridal in Tamworth a most beautiful and exclusive wedding dress boutique were happy to supply their gorgeous dresses, accessories, advise and expertise in styling.

The vibrant and talented team at Utopia Hair Salon in Tamworth worked tirelessly on the day to create 50′s inspired styling with a modern twist perfect for brides looking for something fabulous.

Show stopping brightly coloured parasols were provided by M-Style who also offers inspirational advise and creation for styling your wedding venue, whether indoors, a marquee or outdoors.

Beautiful sorbet coloured fresh flowers with an artistic wire detail were also provided by the young and talented, Chelsea award winning, ‘The Garden Rose’ in Hinckley.

Very pretty, fresh and silk mixed flowers in deep purple, greens and white were also provided by the popular and artistic team at Garlands Florist in Tamworth.

Makeup was applied by the young talent, up and coming makeup artist, Charlotte Swadkin.

The Drayton Manor Wedding shoot was a fantastic success and is proof that local businesses working together can achieve extraordinary results.

About Drayton Manor 

Set in the beautiful Staffordshire country side, amongst 280 acres of lakes and parkland that was once the home of Sir Robert Peel; Drayton Manor Hotel & Park offers the ideal venue for your wedding day.

There is a choice of three impressive function suites, each with their own unique character and features allows couples to tailor their event, large or small.

The Tower Suite with its Victorian themed façade and elegant outside garden space, red carpet entrance, private bar, stage and dance floor with glistening chandeliers can play host for up to 300 guests – the dream venue for grand celebrations.

For smaller gatherings the Hamilton Suite with its views over the lake and parklands can host up to 150 guests, and the Park View Suite situated within the Hotel, with its floor to ceiling windows overlooking the acres of parklands, up to 120 guests.

I am a huge fan of the Drayton Manor/Thomasland having been there myself on 2 occasions and I can see why this would be the perfect location for those wanting a wedding that is a little more alternative and lots of fun.
