He says of his work and the couple…
“I’ve been photographing weddings professionally for eight years.”
“It’s a wonderful, creative and enriching experience”
“At every wedding it’s such a privilege to be with a couple and share the day with them.”
“It’s so rewarding to capture their memories – and great fun… I feel like I’ve found my perfect job!”
“I’ve known Kaye for years, through her work as a florist, and have had many weddings photographing her beautiful creations.”
“I was delighted when Kaye and Robbie asked me to be their photographer.”
“Kaye and Robbie’s wedding was one of those perfect days for photography, the morning was relaxed and fun and we got some lovely preparation photographs, so many special moments that made for gorgeous images.”
“No photographs allowed during the wedding ceremony, but we were able to capture some amazing couple shots among breathtaking ruins near to the church.”
“There was so much character and amazing scope for photography… I could have spent all afternoon there!”
“The reception was in Lockerbie Town Hall, which Kaye, Fiona and her friends and family had transformed, with seasonal flora – ferns, succulents, and beautifully crafted greenery – a wonderful setting for the reception.”
“The day culminated in the awesome music of ‘Highly Strung’ another opportunity for great photographs – I even got up on stage with the band.
“Kaye and Robbie made me so welcome and such a part of their day – it was a real pleasure to share it with them.”
I hand over to gorgeous Bride Kaye…

“Robbie’s Mum, Maureen, was my Ballet Teacher from a very young age.”
“As years went by, our friendship developed into a relationship.”
Tell us about the Engagement…
“We got engaged in July 2014, completely out of the blue, and the proposal was graciously accepted.”
Tell us about your Wedding Planning journey…
“I’m a Florist and Robbie is a Chef, so we both knew exactly what we wanted and even more so what we didn’t want.”
“The planning was pretty easy, we wanted to keep things simple, with no fuss and but keeping everything very seasonal.”
“The warm rustic tones of the Autumnal atmosphere, helped us make our decision, that we would get married on the 10th October 2015.”
What was the best part of your Day?…
“We can’t actually pinpoint the best part of our day, as it was absolutely perfect from beginning to end.”
What Advice would you give to other couples getting Married?…
“The advice we would give to other couples, is to enjoy and capture every single moment of their day.”
Thank you so much to Duncan for sharing this gorgeous Scottish Boders Wedding.
Love the stunning autumnal flowers and especially the transformation of the hall with incredible greenery.
The earthy tones of the Bridesmaid gowns and the Brides sash compliment also the season so well too.
