Today I am very excited to share a beautiful Spring Wedding with a yellow and blue colour palette and a gorgeous Maggie Sottero Wedding Dress.
I am even more honoured to share this amazing day with you as it is the Wedding of Kev from Music Wedding Videos and his lovely Bride Claire.
Images were captured both by Jet Singh and Phillip Fretwell Photography.
I now pass over to Claire to share the couples love story….
How did you meet?
“We met out in Birmingham for Kev’s brothers birthday. Chris (Kev’s brother) even mentioned it in the best man’s speech that we had ‘stole his thunder’ as we got married on the seventh year anniversary of meeting (the day before Chris’s birthday).”
When did you get engaged?
“We got engaged in Lanzarote in October 2013. Kev organised a magic show on the beach with our children.”
They performed some tricks and then Kev turned a Euro in to a giant Diamond ring and got down on one knee. It was very surprising yet romantic.”
Tell us about your wedding planning journey.
“We had quite a nice time frame to work in really and didn’t really get stressed about anything until the final days.
“Hogarths Hotel was booked about 12 months before and I knew that I wanted a Spring theme so got my dress and the bridesmaids dresses quite early.”
“Having these made life easier so we could concentrate on the finer details, and obviously we had the Wedding video sorted.”
When did you get married?
“We got married on the 4th April 2015.”
What was the best bit of your day?
Claire – “My favourite part was seeing Kev look so happy (and crying with joy) at the sight of me at the summer house.”
Kev – “There was a few moments – Seeing my daughter, Caitlin and Claire walking across the bridge had me going.”
“We also had a pianist that played House Music called Davos – Piano/keyboard sessions playing on the evening, who was a complete surprise. And obviously randomly seeing people dancing about to the music video was very surreal.”
What advice would you give to other couples getting married?
“Take a step back for 10 or 15 minutes when you get chance and view what is happening.”
“All the hard work pays off so the couple for one should be able to enjoy that.”
“Get a video too, it goes that quick that you have that to look back on and enjoy. Photos are great but videos capture personalities.”
It also gives me great pleasure to share the couples Video which is probably one of THE BEST Marryokes I have ever seen….
Thank you so much to Jet and Philip for sharing their fantastic photography and this stunning Spring Wedding.
I love the gorgeous blue and yellow palette, so fresh and the perfect compliment to Spring flowing beautifully through the styling of the day.
Claire looks divine in her amazing Maggie Sottero gown and the smiles that abound from the day show just what an incredibly happy celebration the day was.
