Today I am thrilled to share this classic and beautiful Wedding at Gosfield Hall with stunning pastel touches.
Images of the day were captured by Rebecca Prigmore Photography.
Rebecca Prigmore is a wedding photographer, based near Bury St Edmunds, Newmarket and Cambridge.
She captures beautiful, fun, quirky and natural wedding photography and covers Suffolk, Essex, Cambridgeshire, East Anglia and throughout the UK.
Rebecca says of the couple…
“Marc contacted me after seeing a link on a local caterers website to my so I traveled to their home for a meeting.”
“They were so complimentary about my work and website, and I was thrilled when they booked me.”
“When the Wedding Day came and it was incredible.”
“Gosfield Hall is a stunning venue, and the room in which Amanda was getting ready in was spectacular. “
“I had a lot of time prior to the ceremony to capture Amanda getting ready and all the fun with her bridesmaids, plus the stunning flowers and table decorations. “
“The ceremony was so full of emotion, and I love some of the photos I was able to capture, their
expressions were priceless!”
“The day was very much friends and family centric, and adorned with classic and beautiful touches.”
“The sun also shone brightly for them.”
“The speeches were also some of the funniest I have ever witnessed, and the red wig that Marc wore was the cherry on the cake.”
“A beautiful day, full of smiles and laughter.”
I hand over to beautiful Bride Amanda to share her story…
How did you meet?
“We met at a work function when we were seated next to each other at an evening reception.”
“We got chatting and the rest is history.”
When did you get engaged?
“We got engaged in October 2011 – 6 months after we met – Mr Jolly certainly didn’t hang about.”
Tell us about your wedding planning journey
“We had a false start in that we started our planning and then Marc got really poorly and spent quite a lot of time in hospitals having operations so we had to put our plans on hold.”
“However once we got over that little blip we planned everything from start to finish in about 6 months and it was perfect.”
When did you get married?
“We got married in July 2013 at Gosfield Hall in Essex – an amazing venue, and a perfect day.”
What was the best bit of your day?
“So many things stand out.”
“Apart from becoming Mrs Jolly of course., the fact that all of my bridesmaids arrived in one piece.”
“I co-ordinated it all from England but one flew in from L.A, one from Saudi Arabia and two from Scotland – nobody tried their dresses on until the day before the wedding.”
“It was a bit of a nailbiting moment but I was so happy to have my best friends there on the day.”
“I also loved the fact that my wedding ring was Marc’s grandmother’s wedding ring so it was lovely to have something vintage that meant so much to Marc.”
What advice would you give to other couples getting married?
“Stay chilled – all that really matters is that you become husband and wife, all the finer details although lovely – are not make or break.”
“If something doesn’t go exactly to plan don’t sweat it – as long as you and hubby and the Registrar/Vicar turn up everything else is just a bonus.”
Thank you so much to Rebecca for sharing her stunning Gosfield Hall wedding photography.
Such a beautiful soft colour pallette running though this Wedding day with glorious florals and just THE cutest little flowrgirls.
The importance of family is evident with pure happiness radiating from those gathered in celebration.
