Today I am thrilled to share this Classic and Elegant Berkshire Wedding with dashes of Grey and Fuchsia.
Images were captured by Masha Unwerth Phtography.
Masha is London based Wedding Photographer but travels throughout the UK and worldwide.
She shoots about love, affection and relationships, with heart, .
In creating images what she loves is that one shared experience of life that is captured for eternity and the emotions and feelings of people that they want to remember for many years to come.
I hand over to Beautiful Bride Joanne…
How did you meet?
“Tim and I first met around the year 2000 when we were working for the same utility company.”
“Although we chatted and got to know each other as colleagues, we were at different places in our lives at the time.2
“When Tim left the company in 2006 we remained in distant contact meeting a few times a year for social occasions with mutual friends.”
“In 2013 we became closer whilst sharing our life experiences – my mum was very ill and Tim had recently lost his mum.”
“We were a great form of support for each other and became even closer, discovering and appreciating each other’s qualities.”
Tell us about the Engagement…
“We went to New York as part of a 3 part trip to the USA in September 2016.”
“Whilst at the top of the Rockefeller Centre, after dinner, Tim suddenly proposed!”
“It was a total surprise to me but I later found out that he had already asked for my dad’s blessing before we went away, which made it even more special.”
Tell us about your wedding planning journey…
“We decided quite early on that we wanted a fairly intimate wedding with just a small group of close family and friends.”
“With only our dad’s now with us and not in great health, it was important to us to not extend our engagement for too long.”
“Once we had selected the right venue for us, the rest of our plans flowed quite naturally.”
What was the theme /colour palette of your Big Day?
“We didn’t really have a theme, more of a feel for the day which we hoped would be simple, classic and elegant.”
“We chose grey and ivory with a splash of fuchsia as our colours.”
What was the best bit of your day?
“There were so many great moments, but we both agree that the ceremony itself was by far the best bit!”
“As cliché as it may sound, we truly felt the room was filled with love and it was an amazing feeling to pledge our love and commitment in front of our family and friends.”
What advice would you give to other couples getting married?
“Always remember what is really important to you both and don’t waiver from that to try to please others.”
“Research thoroughly booking vendors well in advance and track costs, payment due dates and other details. It will really help as the big day gets closer.”
