Today I am thrilled to share this pretty Cotswolds Wedding at Brockworth Court Tithe Barn with a soft pink palette and an afternoon tea reception.
Images were captured by Kayleigh Pope Photography.
Kayleigh Pope is a wedding photographer based in Coventry, UK but who is more than happy to travel.
She says of her work…
“I fell in love with taking photographs when I was younger, my amazing Grandad introduced me to photography and from that moment I was hooked.”
“Throughout school I was always drawn to those ‘arty’ lessons. I would get lost in art and photography, it was there I felt like me.”
“Years down the line, after I completed my degree I was in a job where I felt lost, it didn’t excite me like photography did. ”
“I knew photography is what I was meant to do. So I quit, and I have never looked back.”
“I am a great believer in doing things you love most in life. I feel so lucky to be able to do what I love, every single day.”
“I love being able to take photographs of people on special occasions in their lives.”
“Weddings just ooze love. I love details and how each couple portrays themselves.”
“I like capturing people when they don’t realise, they are the most magical photographs.”
I hand over to Kayleigh to share her recollections of the day…
“I love Weddings in the Cotswolds, they all look so pretty, and Sophie and Tom’s day was no exception.”
“They were married in their village church, a short drive from their cottage.”
“In the morning, Sophie, her Mum and Maid of Honour had their hair and make up done by Heidi Vince.”
“After the ceremony, we left for the afternoon tea reception at Brockworth Court Tithe Barn.”
“The Barn is exclusively a wedding and events venue in the heart of the Gloucestershire countryside and a bit of a hidden gem being built during the reign of Henry V111.”
“This 15th Century Tudor Barn is surrounded by a tapestry style garden that beautifully complements the Manor House.”
“This provides a rich and varied backdrop for wedding photos which includes a natural pond with a Monet bridge that leads to a small island with a thatched Fiji roof.”
“This place is gorgeous, the barn is like a blank canvas that you can style yourself – I really love it!”
“We were able to walk round the stunning grounds which were covered in beautiful flowers, whilst guests drank drinks in the sunshine on the lawn.”2
“Inside the barn Sophie and Tom had made lots of the details and Tom had hung all the lights.”
“McBaile supplied the tables, linen and crockery and were the caterers for the day.”
Thank you so much to Kayleigh for sharing this gorgeous Cotswolds Wedding.
Love the pretty summery soft pink palette, so elegant.
The DIY touches from the couple are fab, particylarly the wheel table plan, the wish jar and the amazing headboard guest book idea.
Also love the breakout area, its such a lovely thought at weddings when people need a little time out.
