Today I am thrilled to end the week with a gorgeous Hertfordshire Wedding with vibrant orange hues.
The lovely Jennifer & James got married at the beautiful Roman Catholic Church of St Helen , before a colourful reception at the Manor of Groves Hotel.
Images were captured by Minna Rossi Phtography.
Minna, is a friendly female wedding photographer based in London, but capturing weddings across the UK.
Her style of photography is quite natural and relaxed: a mix of candid and posed portraits, fun moments and beautiful details.
Every wedding is different and so full of emotion, and she feels it is a great joy to be part of it all.
She says of the couple and their day…
“Capturing Jennifer and James’ beautiful August wedding started with lots of shots of the girls getting ready at the Hilton Watford Hotel.”
“As Jennifer loved still life and lots of detail, everything was so well planned and colour co-ordinated beforehand in a gorgeous orange hue.”
“I captured candid shots of the girls having their make up done and having a glass of bubbly, little Danielle playing, then finally some portraits smiling to camera when they were all ready.”
“This was as well as capturing the little details such as both her day and evening dresses, mummy and daughter’s shoes together (how cute!), the flowers, the ring and other jewellery, perfume etc.”
“The two hair and make up artists had so many girls (the bride, maid of honour, bridesmaids, the mother of the bride and the couple’s two-year-old daughter) to glam up, but it was a lovely relaxed atmosphere.”
“The hotel was a only a stone’s throw away from the wedding ceremony venue: the Roman Catholic Church of St Helen, were we headed when all were ready.”
“After the ceremony at this lovely little community church everyone headed for a party at Manor of Groves near Sawbridgeworth in Hertfordshire.”
“Manor of Groves stunning architecture and picturesque grounds make it the ideal wedding venue: this restored Georgian Manor House is located in 150 acres of idyllic Hertfordshire countryside.”
“Manor of Groves has two large rooms for weddings – the Collonade Suite in the main hotel and Manor Suite in a separate building as well as two gazebos.”
“Jennifer and James’ wedding reception was held at the Manor Suite at Manor of Groves.”
“Situated in its own building, the Manor Suite has a wealth of space and is an ideal evening reception venue with its light, beautiful glass conservatory.”
“Doors lead out of the Manor Suite to a magnificent Oriental Garden complete with a flowing waterfall, Oriental timber bridge, pergola, gazebo and breathtaking views reaching far out onto the horizon.”
“We did a few group photos straight away after arriving at Manor of Groves so the guests could go and enjoy themselves.”
“I then took Jennifer and James on their own for a few romatic photos in the fabulous sunshine and surrondings.”
“For the wedding breakfast, both families, the bridal party and the couple all danced their way in in small groups to really make an entrance!”
“I had been told that the family love a good party and it was great to see everyone in high spirits and excited at this high energy event.”
“The MC, the grooms sister, got everyone’s attention for speeches and toasts, which made for some great photos of guests’ reactions and laughter.”
“The cake cutting, First Dance, Father Daughter and Mother Son dances all followed.”
“The bouquet throwing didn’t quite go to plan though: it hit the chandelier and it was a sprinting contest for who would be getting married next.”
“What a fantastic, fun day and a fab couple!”
Thank you so much to Minna for sharing this gorgeous, colourful Hertfordshire Wedding
Love the stunning orange colour palette flowing beautifully throughout the day, and the amazing sense of celebration and family.
