Today I am thrilled to share this relaxed same sex Australian backyard wedding with pretty black, white and red detailing.

Gemma says of the couples beautiful backyard wedding…
When Australia voted YES I ran a Same Sex Wedding competition to win FREE Photography.
Paige and Sally were the winners and they celebrated with a beautiful backyard wedding at Paiges family home.
Sally and Paige are police officers and met at work just over 3 years ago through a mutual friend.
Despite being in the police for quite some time and in similar areas they hadn’t crossed paths until October 2015.
They met one night on duty at Strathfield railway station and it was like all the wonderful love stories and romance comedy movies Sally had been watching her entire life had finally happened to her.
She took one look at Paige and knew that was it, that she had met her soulmate, feeling instantly connected, calm and content in her company.
With busy lives their relationship faced some obstacles but all this never mattered as they continued to fight for their love, and worked hard every day to create the most beautiful family.
Acting as flower girl on the day was Sallys daughter, Chelsea, 8 years old, and a “rainbow baby” from a previous relationship.
Everyone says how beautiful Chelsea is, a miniature version of Sally. With piercing green/blue eyes and a beaming smile she is also wonderfully social and cheeky and pretty darn smart too!
Unfortunately, the day wasn’t all jokes and fun. Paige absolutely adores her numerous beautiful competition horses that she dedicates herself to every day in order to compete in both dressage and showing.
Her equestrian baby, Evie, who she helped deliver at birth was at the vet hospital recovering from a very big operation.
Paige stayed strong throughout the wedding day but you could see she was worried about her.
Evie was supposed to be part of the day. Horse ribbons were specially made with “Just Married” embroidered on them.
Despite the worry on the day, Paige relaxed after the beautiful ceremony and I was able to capture some really beautiful moments between her and Sally.
Some of the best moments, however would have to be on the dance floor when this sexy couple put on matching outfits and did a steamy ‘Dirty Dancing’ The Time of My Life number!
WOW, these ladies know how to move! And yes they did the lift!
