Today I am thrilled to share this stunning, romantic and glamorous Lancashire Wedding with an Enzoani Gown and touches of gold and sparkle.
Images were captured by Rachel Joyce Photography.
Rachel is a wedding photographer based in the North West with a speciality in very relaxed and natural photography – telling the different stories of the couples she meets.
She says of the couple and their day…
“Karina got in touch with me through facebook about her wedding plans.”
“Eaves Hall is one of my favourite Lancashire venues so I was very excited about her plans.”
“Karina was evening planning some little surprises for Paul on the wedding day too – the Singing Waiters and the bouncy castle.”
“The day was absolutely beautiful – the whole feel was of elegance and style.”
“Karina looked amazing in her dress and Paul super dapper in his Tux, and the weather was very kind to us so we were able to take advantage of the beautiful grounds around Eaves Hall.”
I now hand over to beautiful Bride, Karina…
How did you meet?
“Me and Paul completely met by chance.”
“I went to friends house party and after deciding it was time to go home and struggling to get a taxi she mentioned their was a taxi on its way for another guest at the party and we should share.”
“I hadn’t even noticed Paul at the party.”
“Soon after getting in the cab Paul realised he had no cash on him so I gave him some money to pay the fare.”
“After dropping me off he promised to pay me back.”
“I never expected to see him again but the following day he turned up at mine with the money I’d given him and asked if he could take me out. We’ve never been apart since.”
Tell us about the engagement...
“Paul proposed after 6 months of being together at the top of a big wheel late at night.”
“It was pitch black and windy and the carriage was rocking like mad. Paul who is terrified of heights was a nervous wreck down on one knee.”
Tell us about your Wedding planning journey
“We’ve started to plan our wedding on a couple of occasions but things were put on hold after getting pregnant.”
“After feeling complete as family we knew it was time for us to finally tie the knot with our boys being included in the day.”
“It felt very special to be able to show the boys how committed we are to each other and to being a family. The day was about the four of us.”
Theme/ colour scheme
“I wanted a romantic atmosphere with touches of glam. The natural colour pallete complimented with a little gold and sparkle was perfect.”
What was the Best bit of the day?
“Seeing Paul’s face at the end of the aisle, the emotion in his eyes made me feel like the most loved woman in the world.”
What advice would you give to other couples getting married?
“Don’t worry about the small stuff, everything will turn out on the day.”
“Celebrating your love for each other with your favourite people in the world is the only thing that matters.”
Thank you so much to Rachel for sharing this stunning Lancashire wedding.
Love the romantic gold palette flowing through the styling bringing warmth to the celebration, and just the overwhelming sense of joy, family and celebration that eminates from the images.
