Today I am thrilled to share this Spooky and Romantic Halloween Wedding in South Carolina with Gothic detailing.
Images were captured by Hannah Woodard Photography.
Hannah says of the couples spooky big day…
I’ve photographed over 100 weddings, and while all of them have been really special in their own ways, the ones that I remember the best are the ones that the couple pour their personalities into.
Tabitha and Daniel’s wedding tops the chart.
These two LOVE Halloween, so they decided to say their “I do”s on October 31st of last year – ensuring that neither of them will EVER forget their anniversary.
Now, when you think about holiday weddings, Halloween probably isn’t the first thing that pops into your mind… but these two are here to show you how ‘spooky’ & ‘romantic’ can actually blend beautifully together!
Tabitha and Daniel selected elegant details that conjured up a dark Victorian aesthetic with references to Gothic literature.
And of course, no Halloween wedding would be complete without a nod to Harry Potter – check out Daniel’s boutonniere and the wand on Tabitha’s bouquet, and “Hedwig’s Theme” played during the processional.
My very favourite part of the day, however, was getting to play with the fog machine for a few very atmospheric portraits of the happy couple!
