A stunning Gloucestershire Winter Wedding with accents of rose gold, blush pinks and burgundy & Disney detail

Today I am thrilled to share this  stunning winter Gloucestershire Wedding with accents of rose gold, blush pinks and burgundy.

Images were captured by Oobaloos Photography.

Sheryl of Oobaloos Photography is based in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire.

She has had a passion for art from a young age and with that creative flow came a career in Performing Arts.

As she grew older her creativity naturally swayed over to imagery and now to harness she harnesses her vibrant personality into her work to create dynamic, emotional and fun portraiture.

I hand over to beautiful Bride Beth to share the couples story…

How did you meet?

We met in school, and were childhood sweethearts.

Tell us about the Proposal…

We had been together for nearly 10 years, we were looking at booking a holiday for a break and I really wanted to go to Cornwall.

Ryan had other ideas and kept on and on about going back to Disney In Florida.

I gave in (didn’t need to twist my arm too much, as I am a massive Disney fan)

On the second day into our holiday Ryan said he had arranged a nice meal at the Grand Floridian.

Me being me didn’t think anything of It as Ryan always liked going for nice meals.

We ordered food and he wouldn’t eat anything…I ended up eating his food… and felt a bit put out that he arranged this and he wasn’t enjoying himself.

So I said let’s go on the monorail around to the Polynesian and watch the fireworks.

We went down to the beach I started filming the fireworks (much to the annoyance of Ryan) …finally after 10 minutes of being glued to my phone I decided I was fed up and started to walk back.

Ryan rushed around in front of me and said there’s actually something I really wanted to ask you..and it was at that point when the last few fireworks were going off and When You Wish Upon A Star came on over the speakers that he asked me to marry him.

Tell us about your Wedding Venue, ad how you chose it…

As soon as Ryan proposed, I was straight on my phone looking at potential wedding venues.

I came across Manor by the Lake and loved that it was exclusive and had so many rooms that we could use.

The grounds of the venue are so beautiful and I just envisioned myself on my wedding day being there.

This venue topped all of the other venues we had  a viewing of and we booked it straight away.

Tell us about your Wedding Planning Journey…

We took just over 2 years but did a lot of planning at the beginning , then it died down until the last 4 months where it was all fast forward once again to pull everything together..

Tell us about your Theme or colour scheme?

We went for a Fairytale/Disney theme as a follow on from how we got engaged and because we just love Disney, and accented it with details in rose gold, blush pinks and burgundy.

If you asked us to describe how our day turned out we would say festive, magical,  and very romantic

Tell us about your Best bits of the Day…

I would probably say one of the highlights of the day was our first dance.

We didn’t choose our song until about 3pm on the day of the wedding. John our DJ from southwest discos was so patient with us.

Half way through our first dance all of our family and friends joined us on the dance floor and we started dancing and singing with them all.

Sheryl captured this moment which made for some beautiful photos.
