Today I an delighted to share this Sydney Harbour Wedding with a Wendy Makin Dress and hints of the Great Gatsby.

I hand over to beautiful Bride Joanne…

How did you and your partner meet?

We met each other in a bar on a night out with our friends.

How did he propose?

It was 6am on a Friday morning in our living room.

He wanted to catch me off guard and give me a big surprise, and it was.

How did you choose your wedding gown?

I went to Marry Me Bridal and it was the second dress I tried on and I knew it was the one straight away.

You just know!

What sort of style did you envision for your wedding day?

We envisioned our wedding day as simple, traditional with a touch of Great Gatsby glamour.

What was your favorite moment from the day?

Our favourite moment was in the amazing bridal suite at Doltone House before the receptions started.

I had time to take in the moment with my husband, immediate family and bridal party.

Any tips that you can give to future couples?

Keep it simple and let friends and family help.

Roll with the punches because there will be a few elements that don’t turn out the way it was planned.
