An elegant and colourful Jamaican and Nigerian Wedding at Froyle Park

Today I am thrilled to share this elegant and colourful Jamaican and Nigerian Wedding at Froyle Park.

Images were captured by Obi Nwokedi Photgraphy.

Obi Nwokedi is a portrait and wedding photographer based in London.

With his team, he is available for commissions all over the UK, Europe, Dubai, United States, Africa, and of course Nigeria, where he normally relocates to from December into January each year.

While primarily Nigerian wedding photographers, photographing mainly Nigerian weddings, he documents weddings from all other cultures as well.

He says of his work…”I’m afraid, I don’t have any emotional story about getting a camera as my 10th birthday present, or how my father before me was a photographer.”

“I’m a regular IT analyst who a couple of years back, simply came across some amazing images online, and a passion was ignited.”

“So after ready many photography books and training videos, thousands of images shot, countless hours on photo forums, and several years later, here I am, using my God given talent to do what I simply love doing …”

The Couples day…

Roxxane and Soji’s Jamaican and Nigerian wedding was set in the beautiful grounds of Froyle Park.

Froyle Park is a magnificent Jacobean manor dating back to 1620 that blends tranquility with classic elegance.

With availability for exclusive use and utter privacy for up to 300 guests, the grand country manor house and its extensive grounds offers one of the south of England’s most picture perfect setting.

From its striking oak panelled Great Hall to the spectacular Grand Ballroom, Froyle Park offers a variety of backdrops for any occasion.

Set in the quaint village of Upper Froyle, just an hour away from London, as you make your way through the gates and up the stately tree – lined path, you will be met with the splendor of this setting.

Surrounded by 80 acres of glorious countryside and steeped in history, the grand Manor House sits proudly overlooking the spectacular views, and beautiful and scenic grounds, graced with peacocks.

It was our first time shooting there, and I have to say, I absolutely love the place.

The couple chose a vibrant red palette for their wedding styling and changed into traditional Nigerian matching outfits for the reception with the colours complimenting the colour scheme for the day.
