Today I am thrilled to share this gorgeous Warwickshire Wedding that brings two cultures together as one.
Images of the day were captured by Nic Serpell – Rand of Free Range Weddings
. Free Range is the fresh wedding photography service from in demand photographer, who caters to clients needs in a relaxed, contemporary, free-range way.
The wedding was on the 29th September 2012 between Ed and Sandeep, and was one of Nic’s favourite weddings of last year.
The Venue of the couples Big Day was Wethele Manor
Wethele Manor dates back to the sixteenth century and is set on a stunning 250 acre estate, overlooking fantastic views of the rolling Warwickshire countryside.
Recently restored to a very high standard, offering luxurious five star accommodation, the house and grounds create an idyllic, stunning location for an exclusive and unique wedding venue.
Rich in character and licensed for civil ceremonies the traditional oak beamed buildings and surrounding orchard and courtyard offer the perfect intimate environment in which to celebrate a special day.
Offering complete privacy, Wethele Manor is a family run exclusive wedding venue located just 2 miles from Royal Leamington Spa in the heart of Warwickshire.
The Wedding was a beautiful, colourful mix of English and Indian culture.
The couple themselves are not religious, so the ceremony was secular, but Sandeep’s family are Sikh, so some of the rituals (such as the bride going to the house to ‘say goodbye’ – Vidaai) are from Sikh tradition.
With rich and vibrant colour, a lively atmosphere, and plenty of genuine emotion their wedding day was a joyous occasion!
Nic says “I like to capture things as they happen as much as possible so from that perspective shooting this wedding was perfect, as there was never a dull moment.”
“The best weddings for a photographer are when you get swept up in the emotion of the day, and you couldn’t help but do that at Ed and Sandeep’s.”
Thanks to Nic for sharing this beautiful Warwickshire Wedding.I love to see vibrant colour in a Wedding pallete and this bi cultural big day is stunning.
What I also really love more than any inspirational quality is to feel the sense of family and joy from within an image and that has certainly been captured.
