Today I am delighted to share the beautiful late Autumnal Wedding of Graeme and Clare captured beautifully by Gary Bonar Photography.
Gary is currently based in Glasgow, and most of his work is in the central belt of Scotland, however he will travel anywhere within reason.
His style is a mixture of traditional and reportage, and he documents the day as it happens, trying not to alter the proceedings too much.
He believes that candid shots are must for everyone’s wedding album, and he likes to believe that he achieves this in such a way that no one will ever remember having that great shot taken.
The couples ceremony took place in a beautiful little church in Edinburgh followed by the reception at Houston House not too far outside of the capital on a very cold but beautiful day.
Situated in a secluded spot near Livingston just west of Edinburgh, and set in 22 acres of beautiful woodlands, Houstoun House is the perfect country retreat.
Once visited by Mary Queen of Scots, the historic building has the classic grace of a 16th century Tower House.
Now I will let the images tell the story of the day…
Thank you to Gary of sharing his beautiful Work on this stunning Autumnal Wedding day.
I love Autumn and its golden and fiery hues, and the changing of the season and it lends itself to some stunning imagery.
I also love the couples blend of dark blue and the orange colour palletes and though on first thought you may think that the colours may not blend they really are a stunning combination.
From the stunning orange teardrop bouquet through to the simple yet striking table centrepieces, balanced by sharp suits, gorgeous Bridesmaid dresses and table accentuation in midnight blue…so so pretty!
