Ducks and Superhero’s and shades of Green – A Stunning Kent Wedding

Today on MrsPandP UK  Wedding Blog I am thrilled to share the stunning Kent Wedding of Richard & Caz at Rowhill Grange, captured beautifully by James Grist Photography.

Rowhill Grange was originally built as a grand Victorian Summerhouse in 1870.

Over the years the hotel has blended into more modern traditions yet the manor still holds the splendor of its origins.

With a sweeping entrance, romantic gardens and the private Clockhouse Suite,  Rowhill Grange is a truly unique venue for a Kent wedding.

James Grist is  a Kent Wedding and Portrait Photographer and specialises in creative reportage wedding photography.

He limits the number of weddings he photographs a year so that we can spend more time on each couple, to offer the best packages so the couple receive our highest quality of service.

James is an expert in blending in with your wedding party, shooting in an unobtrusive reportage style, watching and recording the day as it unfolds.

James says of the day, “From the get go I was made to feel very welcome.  Truly was a great crowd to be around.”

“I would like to thank James {Bestman} & Tom {Usher} for helping out on the day. Oh and how can I forgot Mark the grooms father. Such a great laugh. Hats of to the lads with the Superhero Cufflinks!!”

I pass you over to the beautiful Bride to share all the details of the day,

How did you meet?

“We originally met at secondary school but were never really friends.”

“Our paths then crossed again in 2007 in a bar and we have been inseperable since!”

When and how did you get engaged?

“We got engaged on my 28th birthday!”

“Rich surprised me with about a million flowers and the most beautiful engagement ring I have ever seen!”

Tell me about your Planning journey.

“A year after we got engaged we booked the date and it was all stations go!”

“I made all of the stationary and favours myself and we then decided what we wanted and booked away!”

When was your Wedding ?

“We got married on Wednesday 29th May 2013.”

What was the best bit of your Wedding Day?

“Every single minute! Very cliche but it really was the best day of my life, we are both so glad we chose our beautiful venue and so glad we chose the suppliers we did many of whom we consider as friends now!”

What advice would you give to other Brides and Grooms ?

“Enjoy every minute because it goes so fast!”

“So many people tried to tell us this before our big day but we never really took it on board but it’s so true!”

“Also chose your suppliers wisely, if you don’t have a connection it’s not right, it really makes such a difference to have people around you that you feel comfortable with!”

“Make sure your day is yours and make it about you and the one you love!”

Thanks ever so much to Caz and Richard for sharing their beautiful day and to James Grist for his incredible imagery.

I adore the simple pale green and cream colour pallette, such a fresh spring colour and love the fab added touches of the Candy Buffet and caricaturist, who looks like he went down a storm.

The touch of nature with the very photogenic ducks and the male wedding party’s fantastic superhero cufflinks rounds off a wonderful celebration of love.
