Lily and Will – A Countryside Marquee Wedding with Pinatas, Haybales, a Ceilidh and Homemade touches

Today I am thrilled to share the stunning countryside Marquee Wedding of Lily and Will captured beautifully by Gemma Williams Photography.

Gemma Williams is a Photographer based in  Herefordshire. She specialises in photographing love & marriage across the West Midlands and the UK.

She hopes to bring a gorgeous and creative fine art approach to her documentary photography, with great attention to detail, natural light, and artistic composition.

She is quiet, calming and unobtrusive, capturing real events and emotions naturally.

Gemma says of the couples day “Lily & Will were married in June, at beautiful Dinedor Church in the Herefordshire countryside.”

“They then all went up the lane to Lily’s family home, where guests relaxed on haybales outside the amazing marquee in the garden, enjoying the sunshine, before heading inside for food, fun and Ceilidh dancing.”

“The wedding was filled with gorgeous flowers by the very talented Chloe of Bareblooms, and the marquee and gardens were decorated with home-made touches.”

“I especially liked the sweet-filled piñatas hanging from the branches of the enormous oak tree – a huge hit with children and adults alike!”

“When I arrived at the family home, Lily’s dad was just mowing the lawn for the final time, and her friends were folding the home-made rugs.”

“Lily’s dress by White Minx was stunning, and the boys looked smart in their Bill Child suits too!”

“Everyone packed into the tiny church, and the lovely ceremony took place, to be followed by the biggest amount of hugs ever as people emerged back out into the sunshine again and congratulated the newly-weds.”

“There was so much happiness and laughter, as new and old friends got together. Jackets were thrown aside, shoes were kicked off, and everyone had a great time. Exactly what weddings should be all about!”

“The marquee, by Henman’s, was particularly unique, as it was shaped around the enormous oak tree in the garden, and it had a glass ceiling at the dance-floor end, so you could dance under blue skies and starlight!”

“As I left the wedding, the Ceilidh by the “Jiggerty Band” was in full swing, and it promised to be a fantastic night of celebrations.”

Thanks so much to Gemma for sharing this gorgeous countryside Marquee Wedding.

I love this fantastic Big Day where homespun creativity abounds with homemade rugs, fantastic pinatas, and vibrantly coloured seasonal flowers.

I also love how the couple have made such an effort in ensuring the day was such a great experience for their guest in comfort and in fun.

A sea of happy faces shows what a wonderful celebration it was.
