Today I am thrilled to share the beautiful Winter Wedding Day of Karl and Kelly captured beautifully by the lovely Phil Barrett of P.B Artworks
Phil Barrett is the Creator and Founder of PB Artworks.
He started taking photographs many years ago for fun. He then trained as a graphic designer, and an illustrator, and spent many years perfecting his artistic skills.
Eventually the camera became his canvas, the lens his eye, and the world his subject and now he follow his passion shooting Weddings and Portraiture.
Karl and Kelly (Hurley) married at Albright Hussey near Shrewsbury on a cold chilly December 28th last year, and Phil was there to capture a stunning visual memory of their Winter Wedding Day.
First recorded in the Domesday Book as “Elbretone”, today The Albright Hussey retains all the charm and character of its history.
Its unusual name derives from the feudal family (the Husseys) who occupied it between 1292 and the 1600s.
Today, it’s one of the best examples of an elaborate Tudor timber-frame building in Shrewsbury.
The brick-and-stone wing was added around 1560.
The interior has all the old-world charm and eccentricities you could hope for, including oak panels, fireplaces large enough to roast an ox, and a moated garden with several pairs of fiercely territorial black swans.
This acted as a beautiful backdrop to the couples big day and a warming homely environment in which to celebrate with family and friends.
What a beautiful bride ( who is actually a bodybuilder) and who can resist a man in uniform (Karl works for the nursing division of the Royal Navy).
Thanks to Phil for sharing his wonderful images.
