Today I am thrilled to spotlight on the stunning 2016 International custom couture bridal gown collection from DaisyDaisy.
Back in February their amazing “Look of Love” shoot captured the heart and soul of the Brand in these beautiful images by Ashleigh Sky Photography.
DaisyDaisy is an online custom couture wedding boutique offering high quality classic wedding and vintage style, T-length gowns, bridesmaid gowns and a plethora of quality accessories.
Formerly Yorkshire based Linda Davey, award winning UK Bridal Gown Designer, previously of No.9 Bridal Couture moved with her young family halfway around the world where she has teamed up with renowned Western Australian accessories designer, Tamara Harrison, of Tamara Harrison Design to create this incredible new brand based in Perth.
I hand over to Linda who tells us about the shoot…
“Our ‘Look of Love’ shoot launches our very first collection to the Global market.”
“We are increasingly aware that brides-to-be are budget conscious when it comes to their big day.”
“In view of this the collection is a reflection on romantic simplicity, minimization and cost without compromising on style or quality and available to Brides whatever their size.”
The back drop and floral rings decor for the shoot were designed and made by Tamara Harrison.”
“DaisyDaisy Stylist and floral artist, Tamara, used a suffusion of barely there blue hues and earthly, muted tones in the gorgeous wooden ring displays that formed the shoot backdrop.”
“This created an array of loose leaf arrangements featuring perfectly sculptured fabric flowers.”
“The design reflected her formal training in floristry along with the unique art of French Flower making where each flower is made up of individually and delicately cut fabric petals, stiffened and then worked together to form the perfect bloom.”
“Simple embroidery rings and flowers were fashioned to make a unique half hoop garland, a perfect look, uncomplicated in its beauty.”
“While she dealt with the set, Gilly and make up artist, Leigh, prepared the models.”
“When they were dressed, we all gasped in delight. The vision had come together!”
“Our photography, Ashley paid particular attention to detail, not only in the models and their attire along with hair and make up, but the table setting which was very dear to my own heart.”
“My grandmother had finely crocheted the tablecloth and doilies and just before she passed had given them to my mother.”
“When my mother passed away suddenly last year, they were handed over to me along with the tiny sherry glasses.”
“The gold Coffee Set was also an heirloom, well over 50 years old and along with the gold cutlery and cloth the modern cut glass goblets didn’t look out of place at all completing the look.”
“The Collection is available to Brides throughout Australia, the UK and Internationally.”
Thank you so much to Linda and Tamara for sharing an insight into their Brand and their stunning Wedding Gowns and accessories.
Online shopping can be fraught with pitfalls but amongst the thorns their are roses such as these.
With passion, great design, and the best interest of the Bride at heart the Brand shows that the Bridal look can be done on a smaller budget if you research enough to find the right people.
