Today I am thrilled to share this incredible Baroque inspired Wedding Shoot with rich bold colour & luxe elements.
The shoot was brought together by Dee Chappell at Debonair Venue Styling , and images were captured by Karen Massey Photography.
Dee who styled the shoot shares her recollections of the shoot…
“The ‘Seriously Sumptuous’ styled shoot took place in October 2015 at the magnificent Walton Hall in Warwickshire.”
“The concept and design idea was to create a French style Baroque inspired wedding shoot from an era synonymous with sumptuous grandeur and luxe elements.”
“With the rich tones of Bordeaux red, decadent green and enhanced with grand gold to create a modern look which complimented the setting at Walton Hall perfectly.”
“Magnificent grand scale florals with Grand Prix and Monte Carlo roses, ruby hydrangeas, Amaranthus, clematis, sweet avalanche roses, Lisianthus, rubicon spray roses and ruscus.”
“Gold antique books, gold pomegranates, artichokes, deep rich Bordeaux candles all set on designer rich green linen.”
“Table settings including our gold leaf glass charger plates and statement gold vases complimented with gold cutlery and glassware from Whitehouse Crockery, and gorgeous table stationery from Strawberry Sorbet.”
“The ‘vision’ of the bridal gown was found in a Terry Fox design ‘Dance Away’ with a French corded lace bodice, heart shaped cut our pearl & crystal back with a handmade train of cascading detachable silk roses.”
“All complimented with a beautiful bridal headpiece by ‘Twisted Willow’ & jewellery all supplied by Boho Bride Boutique in Warwickshire.”
“Mollie and Amelia made the most two adorable flower girls in bespoke ‘Lola & Em‘ dresses with tulle skirts.”
“Ben the Cakeman designed a jaw dropping cake which was adorned with gold embellishments and literally took your breath away!”
“Make up was provided by Lian Young MUA and hair by Meg Flory who both captured our vision to perfection.”
“Last but not least of course the wonderful Karen Massey Photography weaved her magic yet again by producing the most stunning images and capturing our shoot absolutely perfectly.”
