A beautiful rustic summer wedding styled shoot at Chapel Barn

Today I am thrilled to share this gorgeous rustic summer wedding styled shoot at Chapel Barn.

The shoot was entirely envisaged by Sara Ellis of To Have and To Hire Events, and dramatically brought to life by Velvet Storm Photography, capturing the essence of a truly English summer wedding with the collaboration of an incredible creative team.

Sara says of the shoot…

Nothing depicts the English countryside and heralds the start of summer more than the beautiful bluebell.

The stunning natural carpet of colour provided one of the backdrops to this shoot at the charming Chapel Barn, nestled in Sussex, which encapsulated all that is quintessentially English, including a quirky ice cream truck, mismatched vintage crockery and thoughtful styling.

The venue, a 600 year old barn, has a rustic elegant charm and is surrounded by woodland and ancient mill ponds.

The barn, with its exposed brickwork and timber beams provides the perfect canvas to shape something spectacular.

The minimalist rustic decorations in the barn juxtaposed with its dramatic features to create a stunning effect.

The bride wore a delicate yet intricate gown from Mode Bridal, balanced with a spectacular flower and ribbon crown supplied by Wild and Green wedding floristry.

The brides make up is perfectly natural and her complete look epitomises an English Rose.

The colourful bridal bouquet and table decor, also by Wild and Green who proudly support and supply English flowers, complement the rustic theme perfectly.

The handsome groom wore a grey-blue wool three piece suit with brown button detail from Astares which balances flawlessly with his brides gown.

The cake, from Peek-a-boo Cakes is a three tier tower encased in alternate black and white is simply decorated with sunflowers, another flower synonymous with all that is an English summer.

This shoot draws all of the elements of a rustic countryside summer wedding together and effortlessly showcases the work of the team.
