A Breathtaking and Romantic Halloween styled shoot with a hint of the Spooktacular

Halloween has never looked so breathtaking and romantic than with this Halloween styled shoot shot on location at Gramercy Mansion in Maryland.

Images were captured by Kimberly Dean Photography with the creativity of an incredible collaborative team.

Kimberley, photographer and publisher of Valley Bride Wedding Guide who co-ordinated the shoot says of the inspiration and styling…

This time of year always brought an exciting spook factor for me… with the leaves changing, temperatures dropping and darkness creeping in.

Yet, there’s also an incredibly romantic vibe to the fall; so we decided to combine that spook with romance in this stylized Halloween wedding.

This shoot took careful planning and specific selection of décor, location, models, and team members. Gramercy Mansion generously and happily granted us permission to use their amazing venue to capture it all.

The carriage house, string lights and grounds opened up so many options for us to shoot this before the leaves changed.

Plus, some of the best Maryland wedding professionals united to create this incredible collaboration.

The amazing chairs, the farm table and table settings were provided by White Glove Rentals.

Eleven Courses Catering created an incredible dish called Amuse Buche – a medley of roasted pistachio, goat cheese, panna cotta, real honeycomb, micro greens and aged balsamic!

They also created a “Harvest Garden” dish, which includes baby radishes, butternut squash and eggplant accompanied by a pumpkin puree and pumpernickel dust.

The black widow awaiting her next victim on Jason Hisley’s terrifying black on black geode cake was an incredible focal point too.

For our Bride Megan Horst, of Beautiful by Megan Horst, absolutely blew us away with her makeup and hair design.

We had a vision in mind, and her work couldn’t be more on target.

For the Grooms tuxedo we wanted the tuxedo to push the boundaries a bit, so we went with the velvet jacket with velvet bow tie, along with a black shirt for a black on black look from Tuxedo House. Brett pulled it off perfectly.
