Its a time of romance and celebration and if there was ever anything that said festive season then it is this beautiful Christmas Wedding styled shoot.
Sara of To Have and To Hire says of the shoot…
Why not break with tradition and have a Christmas wedding?
These gorgeous images taken at Little Thakeham, an exclusive venue nestled in the South Downs, offer inspiration for anyone considering a winter wedding.
The stunning Grade 1 listed property, dressed in all its Christmas finery, provided the perfect cosy backdrop for the shoot.
Crackling fires, twinkling Christmas lights and candles perfectly complimented the rich colours of the table décor and storm lantern centrepieces surrounded by a richly coloured flower wreath.
The model’s stunning champagne coloured gown mixed a traditional embroidered sweetheart bodice with a modern flowing skirt of tulle over organza.
To compliment the dreamy dress she wore a delicately hand-wired headpiece and earrings featuring antique beads, crystals and freshwater pearls. Her bouquet, a bit like her gown, was a mixture of the traditional with the new as well.
Traditional winter foliage of eucalyptus and spruce were mixed with subtle antique pink Memory Lane roses, anemones and white hypericum berries to create an alpine winter romance look.
Simple hair and delicate but rich make up complemented the classical look of the shoot.
No wedding would be complete without a cake and the opulent three tier buttercream cake featured silver, gold and red embellishments that perfectly complimented the rest of the shoot.
