A dark dramatic bridal shoot in the wilderness of the Scottish Highlands

Today I am thrilled to share this dark dramatic bridal shoot in the wilderness of the Scottish Highlands.

Images were captured by Melody Joy Photography with style direction by Love Cat D Weddings & Events and a creative collaborative team.

Cat says of the shoot..

“The inspiration for the shoot was to highlight to couples who perhaps don’t know that in Scotland you can get married anywhere at anytime.”

“The shoot was shot on location on a beach at Ardgartan in Argyll.”

“Ardgartan is a hamlet, on the Cowal peninsula in Argyll and Bute, Scottish Highlands. It is located on the shores of Loch Long, at the bottom of Glen Croe.”

“I really wanted to show this with the wilderness and drama of the lochs, hills and pebbled beaches as a backdrop.”

“For brides not afraid or too precious about their wedding dress why not throw on your coat and go out to explore the beauty of our land whether in sunshine or rain, there is no place on earth that will stay in your heart like Scotland…”

Thank you so much to Melody for sharing her outstanding imagery and the team for bringing together their collaborative talents.

The images perfectly capturing the rugged expanse and amazing scenery that Scotland has to offer to couples that wish to marry in our dear green space.
