A French Art Nouveau Wedding Styled Shoot inspired by Alphonse Mucha

Today I am truly thrilled to share this stunning French Art Nouveau Wedding styled shoot inspired by Alphonse Mucha.

Alphonse Mucha, was a Czech Art Nouveau painter and decorative artist, known best for his distinct style.

He produced many paintings, illustrations, advertisements, postcards, and designs, one of which (Fruit) was the inspiration for this beautiful shoot.

Images of this creative day were captured by Mercedes Morgan with the collaboration of an incredible team.

Mercedes says of the shoot…

“I’m so excited that I get to finally share these images from our Alfonse Mucha – inspired styled shoot.”

“It was an incredible feeling to have an entire team truly love the concept behind the shoot.

“Not only did they embrace the concepts in my style board but they ran with them!”

“When I was itty bitty, my parents took us to our an arts and crafts expo that happened to be in our town.”

“Walking down one of the many aisles, we came across this gorgeous, huge poster. I mean, it was taller than my mom was. Or that’s what it felt like.”

“My parents brought her home and she sat above the liquor cabinet in the dining room that was never opened except to deposit gifts of alcohol that stood there and looked pretty.”

“Just like the poster. Mucha’s aesthetic and style have been an influence to me since and anything French Art Nouveau will make my heart flutter.”

“That such an amazing, talented team came together and fully embraced the theme was such an awesome thing. ”

“On the day our model Keirsten was absolutely stunning in the gown from Austin’s Melange Bridal salon.”

“Jen of Lavish Beauty did an amazing job on her hair and makeup.”

“We also wanted to be sure to capture some images of Ma Maison’s patio with its lovely lighting and greenery. This venue is amazing!”

Ma Maison is inspired by strong French heritage, and a passion for providing warm, inviting Southern hospitality.”

“It is a beautiful reception site with multiple indoor and outdoor spaces to choose from.”

“Stylishly designed it is an oasis of natural beauty and exemplary customer service in an area of Texas that is often compared with Provence and Napa Valley.”

“Kayli, our florist went out of her way to make not only the floral arrangements but the arm band and hair accessories that Keirsten wore.”

“Our cake designer Kristi absolutely, positively ROCKED the stunning cake and it was over-the-top beautiful! She made every single one of the intricate sugar flowers herself.”

Simply Personal created some beautiful stationery whilst Marquee Event Rentals supplied some exquisite table settings and fabrics fr the creation of the tablescape.

“Jennifer, our organiser extraordinaire did an amazing job of not only assembling a team but making sure everything went well on the day and the results are gorgeous.”

Thank you so much to Mercedes for sharing this gorgeous french art nouveau wedding styled shoot.

The outstanding team have fully embraced the theme  and the earthy colours of the painting blend beautifully with this amazing outdoor setting and reach throughout the styling, just stunning.
