A stunning luxury wedding styled shoot with a glorious cascade of colour

Today I am thrilled to share a stunning luxury wedding styled shoot with a glorious cascade of colour at the Bear Hotel in Hungerford.

From rich passionate burgundys and reds through to coppers and golds to blush pink and cream tones, the images are alive with a riot of vibrant to delicate shades.

Images were captured by Barefoot Photography with co-ordination and styling by Fabulous Functions UK.

Sandra of Fabulous Functions says of this beautiful luxury wedding shoot….

Earlier in the year we collaborated with a group of fabulous suppliers to organise an open day at The Bear Hotel in Hungerford, Berkshire.

The couples who came along loved meeting the suppliers there and as a result of the styling we did many couples booked us for their weddings.

As the fair came to a close, it was a short hop to suggest to the events manager Vee, to let us use the hotel for a photoshoot.

Vee and her team at the Bear Hotel, Hungerford were really happy for us to take over the Riverside Suite and excited to see how we could transform their gorgeous venue.

Myself and the team at Fabulous Functions UK wanted to capture the magic of two people in love and who are not afraid to show it.

We wanted to inspire couples to try daring ideas for their luxury wedding planning and step away from the regular safe choices.

We also wanted to create a décor that was opulent and luxurious, and could be adapted to any venue and theme.

To capture this magical journey was Claire of Barefoot Photos whose style is light and natural, she aims to capture precious memories with the minimum of fuss. I can tell you, Claire was everywhere on shoot day and captured the essence of our vision beautifully.

I met with Louise of Wendy House Flowers and together we devised a décor that would simulate the senses from the moment you entered the room.

We wanted the senses to be dancing with the never ending stimulation of beautiful flowers, gorgeous guest tables arranged in a banquet style.

The decor was to feature an ombre colour scheme ranging from rich passionate burgundys and reds through coppers and golds and finally coming to rest on the sweetheart table with the cascading floral garland in blush pink and cream tones and the oh so fabulous flower cloud.

The flower cloud was an absolute must, and is such a statement accessory!

Katie from the Perfect Wedding Shop supplied the pretty acrylic stationery, with place names, table numbers and table plan suiting the theme perfectly.

The lovely Cece from Dymond Shoes created some fabulous footwear for our gorgeous flower girls and for our model bride. She has this to say about her creations.

At Dymond Shoes & Accessories their creations are all about being individual and standing out from the crowd with designs that are bespoke, handcrafted and a unique twist to tradition.

The bridal gown was supplied by Victoria of the bridal studio Willoughby and Wolf, based in Marlborough – the dress is Azalea by Watters.

Azalea’s silk Organza skirt floats and swirls with every movement, while its bodice is beaded and embroidered with organza, crystals and pearls, created in a pattern that accentuates the neckline, finished with beading at the waist and crystal buttons up the back.

Simon of Event Hire UK came on board supplying the glass ware and cutlery with the gold accents of the cutlery and glassware giving a fabulously opulent feel to the venue décor.

Louise of Wendy House Flowers based in Lyneham, is a fabulous florist who encourages her clients to push perceptions, be daring and avant garde in their thinking.

She created a gloriously wild bridal bouquet, full of colours and textures featuring grasses, clematis, wildflowers, roses and more.

The florals on the tables brought to life the ombre ideas wanted to explore for this shoot.

Fays of Fays Fairy Cakes had just received her latest addition to her cake display range ~ an eye wateringly beautiful 7 tier crystal cake tower capable of holding up to 500 delicious cupcakes.

The crystal cake tower had it’s premiere at the photoshoot and it is definitely a must see.

I always advise my couples not to hide their cake in a dark corner taking the cake cutting moment centre stage.

This glorious crystal cake tower had our fabulous peaches and cream toned flower wall as a backdrop making an impressive statement.

To complete the look of this luxury wedding shoot Make up by Maurice understood perfectly what we wanted for our models make up ~ light, fresh and feminine to compliment our model’s natural beauty.
