A Stunning Victorian inspired wedding styled shoot with pretty ivory, green and burgundy details

Today I am thrilled to share this stunning Victorian inspired wedding styled shoot with pretty ivory, green and burgundy details at Rippon Lea Estate

Magic was created when a team of wedding industry leaders and incredible designers came together to shoot the 1900s inspiration wedding style shoot known as ‘Victorian Dream’.

Inspired by the Australian classic novel and film, ‘Picnic at Hanging Rock’, the shoot explores the captivating beauty behind preppy and dreamy innocent fashion, in combination with timeless and elegant wedding styling.

Images were captured by Sephory Photography.

The Concept

This dreamy shoot was shot on location at Rippon Lea Estate. a heritage-listed historic house and gardens located in Elsternwick, Melbourne, Victoria.

Scenes of the bride and groom were captured in the estate’s drawing room and conservatory, while their reception was captured outdoors by the entertainment and pool area.

The final scenes include the couple proceeding to have a private and romantic picnic by the lake, followed by an intimate stroll around the estate’s garden

The Fashion

This style shoot celebrates the femininity of Victorian fashion in the canvas of today’s modern designs, including the use of gorgeous frills, ribbons, high necklines and bishop sleeves.

The gorgeous bride is dressed in a designer gown by Jason Grech for the indoor scenes, and changes to a flowy angel wing gown by L’ETO Bridal as she explores the estate’s gardens.

The groom matches the mood and embraces the Victorian style with a rich green tartan bow tie and blazer with classic beige and changes to a preppy maroon vest and custom pinstriped jacket for the outdoors.

The Accessories

Styled with their designer fashion, the bride wears glistening a vintage-style engagement ring and matching wedding ring, paired with drop pearl earrings. The groom wears a preppy black leather watch and black-lined wedding band

Bridal Beauty

As for the bridal beauty style, this wedding theme celebrates the natural, soft and innocent look, embracing rosy and peach tones to express her youthful purity..

To match this feminine look, the bride’s hair is styled with a lush black velvet bow, and for her outdoor picnic look, she wears a graceful fishtail updo, with baby breath weaved in.

The Styling and Decor

Throughout the shoot, you will find styling elements that fits within the Victorian theme, including details such as antique books, black ribbon straw hats, old letters and quill, vintage brush and mirror, lace parasol, and a traditional picnic basket.

The Stationery

The shoot includes a timeless and understated wedding stationery set by Giant Invitations including luxury textured paper, bronze foiling, blind letterpress matched with premium kraft stocks.

This charming victorian inspired wedding theme plays with the irresistible and timeless colour palette of pure ivory and traditional beige, with a touch of rich and preppy green and burgundy.

Take inspiration from romantic vintage styles to create a beautiful and timeless masterpiece!
