Today I am excited to share this vivacious and sparkly Peacock inspired bridal shoot.
The clever creatures at the Glitter Girls Collective have combined their creative super powers by way of this amazing styled shoot collaborating with fellow glittery pixies to create a truly magical wedding concept.
Images were captured by Nellie Photography.
This alternative bridal shoot was inspired by the majestic, Indian Peacock and photographed within the grounds of Arley House & Arboretum.
This stunning wedding venue offers flexibility for modern couples saying I Do, from the beautiful Grade II listed Italian walled garden to an industrial greenhouse in which you can say your vows, and there’s a church too!
In all Arley has all your bases covered with 1600 acres of grounds in which to capture your memories.
The rich greenery, warm brickwork and seasonal blooms provided the perfect backdrop for the jewel tones, natural, botanical forms and nod to Victoriana steampunk of this styled shoot.
The model’s incredible peacock creation featured a velvet & satin steel boned corset adorned with peacock feather embroidery, hi-lo form fitted satin skirt with exposed tutu petticoat all topped with a feather & rhinestone neck corset.
The bouquet was created from individually hand made felt botanical blooms, including daisies, roses, ranunculus and proteas, greenery. The theme was carried through to the hand beaded peacock feather eyes.
With hair & make up pulling together the peacock theme and heritage style of the venue. The models hair was curled and styled into a poodle up do finished with vintage tiara – placed in the back and pinned at the side with peacock feather clip.
Rich berry tones to the eyes and lips complimented the dress.
The cake was a magnificent 4 tiers of rich purple embellished with edible feathers and topped with an intricate globe of individual, gilded peacock feathers.
And should you wish to invite guests to your peacock inspired wedding… antique gold stationery featuring a bold, stylised, geometric, peacock print in bright jewel tones, sealed with a peacock wax seal & coordinated feather was designed to compliment the theme.
Love how the team have embraced the majesty of the graceful Peacock and incorporated it into a beautiful Peacock inspired bridal shoot
I have long loved these stunning birds, the presence they have and especially their gorgeous rich colouring.
The Palette incorporates vibrant shades of purple, blue, green, gold and teal and together its just breathtaking.
