May the Fourth Be With You ~ Creating a Star Wars inspired Wedding Day

If you are a fan of the Force then you may be tempted to add a few quirky touches into your Star Wars inspired Wedding Day to reflect your love of all things Jedi.

In celebration of May the 4th Be With You an amazing team of local Indianapolis vendors came together to create an inspirational wedding based on your favourite rebel fighters.

Images were captured by Lacy Clagg Photos with coordination, design & decor by Cheyenne Fox at Nerdy Fox Rentals & Designs.

Cheyenne says of the shoot…

Using the colours of blue, white, gold, and black they created that can inspire an amazing galaxy feeling for your celebration.

The setting was The Children’s Museum located in downtown Indianapolis, a great spot for couples looking for a fun and offbeat venue for their wedding.

The Bride wore a beautiful white gown from Ella Mae’s Formal that resembled the outfit worn by Princess Leia when she was captured, with the jewels on the back giving it that celestial feel.

Hairstylist SASS Sweet And Serene Salon put a fun twist on Leia’s “bun” hairstyle, complimented with a fresh make up by Kelsey Anne to complete the princess’ look.

We took advantage of the space area in the museum to take some out of this world photos.

Their space window resembles one you would see on a spaceship with outer space videos and backgrounds. Our bride was able to send her message of hope with our friendly R2D2 and try her hand with the force.

The tablescape sparkled like multitudes of stars in the sky with pretty blue sequin tablecloths from LGI Linens.

A nerdy touch was added with a terrarium centerpiece resembling a scene from Hoth with the AT-AT trudging through the snow.

Tall pillar candles create a geek chic atmosphere along with the gold place settings.

The cake by Whisk Bakery and Catering was marbled to create that galaxy far far away feeling and it is finished with a custom “I love you, I know” cake topper from The 3D Geekery.

When you add in details of pretty florals from Rose Lady Floral, lightsabers, ships, custom stationery from Twin Sisters Designs, signage, and maybe a few stormtroopers you to can have a geek chic wedding to showcase your love for Star Wars.
