Pretty in Pink bridal shoot – Elegant inspiration for the modern bride

Today I am thrilled to share this stunning Pretty in Pink bridal shoot with some incredibly elegant inspiration for the modern bride.

To round off an eventful year, Afmena Events decided to put together a final styled shoot for 2016 in celebration of everything their brand represents – simplicity and elegance with design, and they did it spectactularly.

Afmena Events are florists and event stylists, not wedding planners.

So when asked why they like to coordinate styled shoots, here is what Barbara their Design Consultant had to say:

‘I remember whilst still in the early stages of the business, having a conversation with Elizabeth Solaru of Elizabeth’s Cake Emporium who is extremely well established in the UK Wedding Industry.”

“She said that it was important as a wedding vendor to have current knowledge of the work of people from all aspects of the industry. So despite being a cake artisan she follows the work of florists, makeup artists, planners etc.”

“That really stuck with me and it is something I have truly benefited from. Inspiration can be taken from the work of all vendors within the creative industry, the work of their hands, their work ethic and branding can all be appreciated.”

“Organising these styled shoots has done just that for me and I have worked hard to translate that appreciation into our company to reflect how we work with other vendors and how we establish a design concept for brides – from a holistic perspective.”

“For example, during consultations I often ask brides who their other vendors are because it helps to give me a flavour of who they are as an individual and what they want for their wedding.”

“I teamed up with some of the UK’s finest wedding industry specialists and the result is a ‘Pretty in Pink’ inspirational shoot for the modern bride.

“In the words of Coco Chanel, ‘Simplicity is the keynote of all true elegance’.”

“This was reflected in all the elements curated for this shoot, from the deep v-necked bridal gown by Federica Bruno featuring delicate rose details for the daring bride, to the simple hair bun design by the talented Charis Hair.”

“I wanted to explore all the current wedding trends with this shoot from Paper Flowers by Junia Creations to Candy Buffet treats by Kandy by Kerry, and let’s not forget the ‘Soul Mates’ wedding cake by QCakes!”

“All perfectly captured by the fun-loving Obi Nwokedi with modern ideas perfect for the contemporary bride.”

Thank you so much to the collaborative team for sharing this gorgeous Pretty in Pink Bridal shoot.

Isn’t t glorious, its bursting with candy colour with breathtaking florals, flower wall and cakes.
