Today I am thrilled to share this elegantly rustic bridal shoot in Somerset with pretty details in soft shades of blue..
Tessa of Tessa’s Tiaras says of the shoot…
It started with a contact between Ioana (photographer) and the owners of The Old Milking Parlour at Cavokay House.
Set in rural Somerset, the Old Milking Parlour is a real find.
Its a beautiful stone built barn lit with fairylights set in 12 acres, with it’s own woods and a stream trickling through it.
Ioana had a vision of creating a dreamy photoshoot using soft blue pallette as the main vein of colour.
To create a different bridal look our model wore a soft blue jumpsuit and also a shorter skater style lace detail dress for added glamour in place of the traditional wedding gown.
To accessorise our Bride had a sparkling handmade crystal bouquet and matching tiara and jewellery from Tessa of Tessa’s Tiaras.
To take the emphasis off the need for floral displays, cut glass and crystal, pottery and even mirrors and classical books were used as decor and displays which were styled by Venue stylist Kelly from Creatively Covered.
A decorative and mirrored cake arch was used to show off the stunningly elegant cake by Joanna Pyda Cake Designs, and the intimate yet elegant table was dressed with crystal glasses and ice filled champagne buckets and lace capped, pearl draped chairs.
The invitation and table stationery were perfectly matched to the palette by the stationers Archibald Edwards.
