Whether they are for a corporate or personal event, a Wedding or just because, these delicacies are just a bit special.
Harriet Hastings co-founded Biscuiteers with her husband, Stevie Congdon in 2007.
They came up with their inspired idea whilst on a weekend away in New York.
They were sure that there were many people just like them who were passionate about biscuits, and saw the opportunity within the market for creating biscuits that were as beautiful as they tasted.
Harriet and Steve started planning Biscuiteers in Spring 2007 testing out recipes.
From the beginning they were very commited to using the very best natural ingredients to get the taste they wanted.
They then started planning their collections, looking at designs and working out the big occasions.
They planned collections as they wanted to launch them seasonally like fashion collections and be able to continually grow and develop the range.
The company launched online in September 2007 with the mission statement “Why send flowers when you can send biscuits instead.”
This offered an alternative to traditional gifts; using biscuits for their flexibility in terms of design, reasonable shelf life and ability to be sent in the post.
Both boutiques sell seasonal biscuits, chocolate and cake collections.
The icing cafes also offers icing lessons/workshops.
As well as gifts Biscuiteers receive corporate commissions such as logos and other designs for iced biscuits and cakes and have previously created bespoke biscuits for Anya Hindmarch, Mulberry, Boden, Swatch, Dior, Cartier, Gucci, Red Bull and Burberry among others, where the client wanted very accurate representations of their designs.
They have a bespoke service for private parties, weddings, christenings, baby showers and birthday parties and these are super pretty and a wonderful surprise for those celebrating lifes special occasions.
I was asked to try the Wedding Bells Collection and these little delights certainly went down a storm in the House of Tinlin.
What can I say about these beautiful baked goods…
Well first was the pretty tin they came in, absolutely lovely and a nice wee keepsake love after the luscious treats have been eaten.
The delicate biscuits inside are both visually pleasing, as well as tasty, and a wonderful treat for those with a sweet tooth.
Whether it’s the gorgeous wedding gift box like I trialled (beautifully filled with wedding themed biscuits) or individual boxed or bagged biscuits perfection as an individual wedding favour then Biscuiteers delivers on a high quality and stunning product.
Biscuiteers products are stocked in Selfridges, Fortnum & Mason, Harrods, The Conran Shop, Printemps and le Grand Epicerie in Paris as well as online.
