Today I am delighted to spotlight on the lovely wedding stationery designs of Devotion Stationery.
Helen Bell describes herself as a Graphic Designer and Wedding obsessive who creates contemporary wedding stationery perfect for the modern bride.
I had a wee chat to Helen about the blossoming brand….
Who are you, and what do you do?
“I’m Helen and I founded Devotion Stationery.”
“My company specialises in unique wedding stationery perfect for couples who want something individual.”
“I design both ready to buy stationery and I also have a bespoke service for those who want something created just for them.”
When and why did you start your Company?
“After 10 years of creating stationery for friends and family I officially started Devotion 18 months ago.”
“I have always loved weddings and when the opportunity arose to combine my day job and my obsession with all things matrimonial I jumped at the chance.”
What inspires you?
“I take inspiration from many places.”
“Fashion, art, old signs, pieces of fabric and architecture are among my favourites.”
“I love lettering and often take inspiration from an unusual font and work up a design around it.”
Do trends influence your work?
“Trends definitely influence me.”
“I like to look at upcoming themes and take aspects from them to use in my designs.”
“I never try to pigeon hole my style, preferring to let each design speak for itself.”
“This results in Devotion producing an eclectic range of stationery collections.”
What is your greatest achievement?
“My children. My business. Passing my driving test and my degree on the same day.”
“Being brave enough to give up my cushy job to take a chance on being self employed and doing something I love. Take your Pick!”
What do you see as the future of your Company?
“I would love for my company to grow further and I plan on extending my product range to include other special occasion stationery, such as christenings and birthdays.”
“My main aim however has always been and always will be to provide each couple with wedding stationery that makes them feel truly individual.”
Thank you so much to Helen for sharing her lovely wedding stationery designs.
