Today I am excited to spotlight on Cheerfully Given and in particular their love and faith based gifts perfect to compliment your Wedding Day.
Cheerfully Give is a marketplace website made up of a community of over 60 Christian designers and makers who have a desire to share the Lord Jesus through great design and contemporary craft.
Creative arts have been at the core of Church life since the tabernacle was constructed, so they want to encourage and share that great treasure.
Cheerfully Given was started to support designers and makers in any way they can as they pursue their creative calling, and as a resource for the wider church and society to buy design-led products that reflect the life found in Jesus.
The words of 1 Peter 4:10 inspire their community to work together as the Body of Christ: “Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.”
They launched in June 2016, and have since had over 130 applications from amazing creative businesses all over the world.
Menekse Stewart is the creative brains behind Cheerfully Given, and is based in Nottingham.
Having trained as an accountant within the Christian retail industry, Menekse then moved into project management and small business development before founding Cheerfully Given.
Menekse *loves* creative business, and enjoys finding lovely things from independent designers and makers which inspired her to create the brand in .
Working alongside Menekse is Cat who is based in the Midlands.
She is the creative genius behind Cheerfully Given’s branding and collateral, which she designed back in 2015.
With experience working as a web designer for well-known retailers, Cat also runs Twin Pines Creative, a design studio which she launched in 2015.
The technical support behind the Business is Josh who is based in the Midlands.
Josh is a specialist Craft CMS developer and consultant, and is particularly experienced with complex website builds, writing custom plugins, and all things ecommerce.
He’s recently launched his own web development company, and he is building the Cheerfully Givens new custom web platform supported by their recent Kickstarter campaign.
Faith in God is something that is very special to me. I know that its not everyone’s choice and its a very personal decision but I know I would have crumbled on many occasions without this to lean on.
Its hard to see the light when things are difficult but God never brings you to something that you can’t handle.
Though at times I have been why me, and why can’t things be easier, I know I am very fortunate in my life, and I am very grateful for that.
Seeing Cheerfully Given grow over the last few months and their recent Kickstarter campaign has shown me that there is a great community of people who are passionate about reflecting the life of God and want to encourage thoughtful, fair gift-buying and a new way of sharing Jesus in our homes, and in our celebrations.
Today I have chosen a few beautiful products that I particularly love…
Aren’t these amazing faith based gifts incredible!
I am particularly in love with the stunning Love is Patient gifts.
This was a reading at my wedding and will be at my renewal later this year so holds special memories for me and soon new ones.
The ring is exquisite and love the pretty calligraphy of the print…
