It started with Hello… A friendly Introduction

Hello! Its a simple word but one that is so important in introduction. From when we are tiny tots to when we go to school, to starting work and in every day life, its a word we constantly use. Turning the focus to Weddings, that is something that would not happen without the word being said. From that simple hello, friendships blossom, and relationships grow. So today as we enter a brand new year I want to  offer a friendly introduction to me if you don’t already know me. My name is Alison Tinlin, and I am based in Glasgow, Scotland. Write an initial list of those you would like to invite to the day, and then sort out in importance the must be there’s, from the would like’s. Both Bride and Groom should write...

Personal Post – What I am, and what I’m not

I first started the Plans and Presents  Blog  as just a record of what I was doing, and sharing some personal post of my first footsteps into a new Career. Since then it has evolved into something very different with wedding advice, supplier features, real weddings and lots more. What I know I am NOT however is a natural writer. I sometimes look at the words in front of me and wonder if anyone will read them. I constantly worry that I am not as well spoken as others, I know for definite I do not have a confident writing style and I often wish things would flow easier. From my first tenative meanderings...
