Hambledon Vineyard – The Romance of the Vine

Today I am thrilled to share a wonderful collaborative Bridal shoot at Hambledon Vineyard.

The venue provides the ultimate setting for romance, and amongst the vines you are hidden from the hectic world around you.

This magical romance whilst in the vineyard, along with the exciting emerging Hambledon Vineyard brand, provided the inspiration behind the photo shoot that took place at the vineyard on 14th July 2014.

The images for this shoot will be used to launch ‘Weddings at Hambledon Vineyard’.

Images were captured by Tasha at Ikonworks Photography.

The beautiful Gemma Olliff, whose hair and make up was done by Natasha Wiggins, looked the modern day romantic heroine in the two bridal gowns, that were very kindly supplied by Zoe Parfitt from The White House in Alresford,

The first dress, Edie by Charlotte Casadejus very much fits with the romance of the vines, the idyllic country location and the gentleness of the surrounding area.

The second dress, Rosie by Astral Sundholm, teamed with the beautiful Catherine shoes by Rachel Simpson, reflects the luxury brand that is being built  at Hambledon Vineyard with their English Sparkling wines.

Hambledon Classic Cuvée was launched in May 2014 and their Premiere Cuvée will be launched next year.

Sarah Cross who is Event Planner for the Venue  invited a number of highly talented and creative, local wedding suppliers to work alongside her on this shoot.

She says “I very much wanted to steer away from pinks and reds on this occasion, and work much more with the surrounding area and branding for the venue.”

“July is always a great time of year for the blues throughout any quintessentially English cottage garden.”

“We also incorporated details from the vineyard wherever we could, using Hambledon wine corks and barrels as props.”

I was so pleased that Natasha Newland agreed to be involved in this project.

Natasha has an amazing eye and creative flair, she adds so much energy to any venture that she works on and her passion for photography is impossible to disguise.

It is a pleasure to have been working again with such a talented lady.

Videography – Zara Clements – Creative Mac Film Media – info@creativemacfilmandmedia.com

Zoe was great at capturing the beautiful surroundings and the progress of the shoot.

Zara has a quiet confidence about her and is very discreet whilst going about her work.

For a wedding you would receive such a fantastic reminder of you day, with barely noticing you were being filmed!

Hair & Make-up -Natasha Wiggins – NW Make Up – natasha@nwmakeup.co.uk

Natasha provided beautiful hair and make up for the shoot.

Softer and more relaxed for the Charlotte Casadejus dress and then slightly more impact for the Astral Sundholm dress to capture more the glamour and luxury of the Hambledon brand.

Model – Gemma Olliffe

Gemma was extremely refreshing to work with, she knew how to stand and re-arrange between shots and was equally happy to take direction and give anything a go.

A real gem and I would certainly recommend her to other suppliers whole heartedly.

Bridal Gowns – Zoe – The White House, Alresford – hello@whitehousebrides.co.uk

Zoe knew exactly what I was looking for following a telephone conversation.

When I arrived with Gemma for a dress fitting she has chosen the two perfect dresses.

The detail and freedom of Edie by Charlotte Casadejus  truly portrayed the romantic feel that I needed for the first dress and the simple luxury of Rosie by Astral Sundholm again ticked all the boxes!

Flowers – Claire – Templeflora – flowers@templeflora.co.uk

Such a pretty post! The photography is wonderful, and I am always a huge fan of using great British businesses. It’s great to see so many smaller vineyards and breweries thriving in Britain and is a really wonderful place for a country wedding! (P.S. I am sure bridesmaids would appreciate the availability of wine!). xxx
