In your wedding planning journey and as a fashionable bride, you want your day to reflect yours and your partner’s styles.
Organising your wedding day can be a challenging task with so many things to arrange, from finding the perfect dress to choosing who to invite.
When it comes to your celebration there’s planning and then there’s planning.
Here’s how to arrange a wedding with the greatest of ease…..
The Dream Dress
For a bride, there is perhaps no harder decision than the dress.
Before you start trawling through boutiques, do a little research and decide on what kind of shape, cut and level of embellishment you like, but always keep an open mind as what you think you like may not be what suits you.
While you can never go wrong with a classic lace ivory dress, there are many stylish alternative wedding dresses to choose from, too.
But whatever your preference, patience is key, so don’t despair if it takes a while to find ‘the one.’
Choosing a venue can be a stressful process.
Typical venues often include country homes, hotels, marquees and restaurants, but there are a huge number of options.
Buildings that are a little out of the ordinary from Town Halls, to Museums to Botanical gardens to chic industrial spaces can be a perfect fit for your style of celebration.
In the capital, consider the majestic London settings offered by One Events that will not only look stunning in your photographs, but keep your guests talking, too.
A Piece of Cake
Wedding cakes are no longer simple, white, three-tiered affairs.
Instead, cakes come in all shapes and sizes, from cupcake trees to huge sculptures and themed affairs
Your cake should be as unique as yourself and your partner, so don’t be afraid to step away from tradition in whatever that means, traditional, fun, or stylish.
Pinch the Photos
While you MUST hire a professional photographer, it’s great to utilise freebies, too.
If you are a fan of Social Media, you can also ask guests to use a hashtag when they upload photos so you can collate some parts of the day that ordinarily might not have been captured.
Lay strict ground rules however of when you want these uploaded, most couples want to share a newlywed snap first.
Make Your Own Choices
It can be easy to feel pressurised into making decisions to conform to tradition and appease family members.
However, it’s important to remember that this wedding belongs to yourself and your partner, and no one else.
So arrange your day according to your wants and needs, spend your budget where you think it’s best spent, and only invite the people you want to share your special day with.
Hopefully this will help you in your planning process.
But when it comes to your big day, remember to let the stress fall away, focus on yourselves, and enjoy every single moment.
