What the Wedding Industry want you to know & what the Government doesn’t!

The Wedding Industry is staring into an abyss….that never ending black hole where the hopes and dreams of couples across the land, and a once vibrant sector plummet into emptiness. Anxiety and uncertainty are the watchwords of many, alongside feelings of being being failed, stigmatised and misunderstood. For some couples there will have been the childhood imagining of the perfect day, perfect dress, flowers and all the razzmatazz, for some it was there chance to have all those most important to them celebrating their special day, and for some a day to express their personalities and just have lots of fun. A Letter from the Wedding Industry to Government…

The Wedding Industry is tired, the industry is sad, the industry is angry, its deflated and despondent and many are completely emotionally broken, and so are our couples. Covid may have started the suffering but Government inaction is letting that continue, and that is not acceptable. Emotions can be a tricky subject to write about, simply for the fact we find them difficult, and when things are difficult we tend to shy away from them. Its a new chapter in your life and while you may look forward to it with excitement and optimism, its completely normal to have some jitters as what you know of your life so far is changing. In this beautiful styled shoot with a delicate soft pink and white palette set at the gorgeous Ellingham Hall we can imagine the tumbling...

Should I get Life Insurance before I get married?

Life insurance is probably not the first thing that will come to mind in that lovey dovey honeymoon period, or even when wedding planning but its definitely something to be aware of, and to look into going forward as you start you life together. Life can be tremendously hard sometimes and all too often we hear stories of people snatched away in the prime of their lives who don’t get the chance to celebrate their golden years together. Life in that instance isn’t fair at all so protecting yourselves and our families financial future is imperative. Emma of Cover my Bubble explains…   Everyone has a ‘Bubble’ whether it’s your...
