Kirsty who is based in Birmingham shares her recollections of the couples shoot,

“Laura and Scott are an amazing couple, so in love which is just gorgeous to see and it was great that they wanted to go for something so fun and different for their engagement shoot.”

“We had a fantastic day and they were complete naturals in front of the camera. I can’t wait to shoot their wedding!”

I now hand over to the lovely Bride Laura to tell us all about her and her fiance,

“I am Laura, 26 and currently in my final year of studying to be a Healthcare Play Specialist.”

“Scott is 35 and a Technical Sales Engineer. We live together in Redditch.”

“Scott and I actually met when I moved in next door. We went on our first date 2 years after we met as neighbours.”

“Scott proposed in 2011 after 3 and a half years together.”

“He took me to Venice and after 3 amazing days he asked if I wanted to go on a gondola, of course I said yes.”

“Little did I know that a bit more organisation had gone into this Venice trip.”

About half an hour into our trip down the Grande Canal we turned down a canal way and heard the sound of a piano playing, the gondolier said “to your right is the smallest church in Venice, it only holds 24 people”.

“As I turned to Scott to tell him how beautiful the church was he was holding a small black velvet Tiffany box in his hands, it was then he asked me to be his wife.”

“I cried so much Scott had to ask if it was a yes. We then went to then most amazing roof top terrace restaurant overlooking the Grande Canal for a candle lit dinner.”

“It was after this holiday that I finally moved in next door!!”

“Scott and I wanted to do something fun for our engagement shoot, as we are having a vintage style wedding in June 2014.”

“We wanted to something that would fit with our wedding theme, I remembered going to the Black Country Living museum at school and loved the vintage fairground so thought it would make a fun and different photo shoot.”

“We had a great day with Kirsty our photographer, she made us feel as ease straight away. She has an amazing way of making you feel comfortable in front of the camera.”

“We love the natural shots and feel Kirsty really manages to capture our personalities in the photos she takes of us.”

“We even got a few cheers from the children on school trips as we kissed at the top of a hill (to Scott’s embarrassment).”

“The staff at the museum were also great, they let us use the props in the photos and pretty much let us take over the fairground, they were all super friendly too.”
