On a crisp day at the start of March Mike Cook shot the relaxed Engagement Shoot of Emily & Ryan who were getting married at Edinburgh Zoo in April.
Whilst based just outside Falkirk, Mike has undertaken photography throughout most of Central Scotland – Stirling, Edinburgh, Glasgow and beyond.
He describes his style as relaxed, contemporary and documentary.
The couple are from London and so left it up to Mike to pick a location for the shoot, and as they were staying in Edinburgh during their visit, he suggested the Dean Village, where he had done a few shoots before.
It’s hard to believe that the Dean Village is literally a stone’s throw away from the centre of Edinburgh, tucked away as it is with all its old world charm, where most people would just pass it by without knowing it was there, its a great spot.
I will let these love charged images speak for themselves, just lovely.
Thanks to Mike for sharing this beautiful shoot, They really are a couple that are two pieces of the same jigsaw and only have eyes for each other.
Utter contentment, and a deep love is evident in these images and I am very excited to also be sharing their fabulous Wedding too.
