Today I am thrilled to spotlight on a stunning collaborative Isle of Man Bridal Photoshoot where the focus was on the bridal look with different themes and styles Brides can think about when deciding on their hair, makeup, and Wedding dress.
Images were captured by Sarah Jewell Photography.
I spoke to Charlotte Easton MUA who tells us a little about the shoot with imagery to illustrate…
“With the hustle and bustle of the wedding day it can be difficult to schedule time to actually get those magazine worthy images brides imagine.”
“We wanted to show clients what could be achieved.”
“We’d noticed a growing trend for brides to have not only one but two beautiful dresses on their special day and to request a “changeover” of hair and makeup for the evening celebrations.”
“For the first look we chose a bias cut slip dress with delicate chantilly lace by Alfred Angelo with a stunning floral crown and bouquet of seasonal summer flowers and berries, tying in with the garden colours.”
“The makeup was kept very fresh, natural and light.”
“The hair also, was very natural yet chic in loose, tumbling waves with braided detail.”
“For the second look the lip colour changed to a peachy hue and added false lashes to enhance the eyes.”
“The hair was twisted to one side and a beautiful headpiece added.”
“The contemporary posy with a skeleton leaf collar and stunning silk chiffon empire line gown with beaded illusion neckline, bodice and sleeves from Genevieve by Jenny Packham worked perfectly.”
“The inspiration for the third look as modern Hollywood Glamour with a warmed toned glossy lip colour.”
“The hair was also put up but in a very loose modern structure.”
“The slim and sophisticated style dress with beautiful silver leaf beading from Jean by Jenny Packham which glistened perfectly under the sunshine.”
“The final look was a more editorial, making a dramatic statement with a matt, cool toned red lip colour, intensifying the eye makeup for a smokey eyed look and adding individual lashes.”
“The woodland inspired, structured bouquet with pearl and butterfly detail really added an unexpected twist juxtaposed with the luxurious heavy silk crepe with daring plunge back dress.”
Thank you so much to this amazing Collaborative team for sharing such gorgeous Bridal look inspiration.
Such simple changes can make such striking difference whether going for understated elegance or full on glamour.
