The Farmer’s Wife – A Farmyard Trash the Dress – Images by Sarah Morris Photography

About fit to burst with excitement today to be able to share this fantastic Trash the Dress Shoot from the rather lovely and extremely talented Sarah Morris.

Sarah is an incredible new Photographer based in London specialising in Portrait, Celebration and Wedding Photography.

Sarah says of her work, “I love the weird and the wonderful, the simple and the sane. I am inspired by those around me and try to capture their essence in my work.”

“I am as comfortable working with dizzying Burlesque dancers as I am with energetic toddlers….as indeed an appealing brick wall should it catch my eye.”

Now this shoot had been planned for an age BUT it didn’t go EXACTLY as planned.

The horse that Sarah had planned to use for the riding shots became unavailable, the replacement horse was a little too fiesty and wild, there was a Dress disaster and the weather was vile. But never one to buckle from a challenge Sarah shot an extraordinary shoot against difficult conditions.

She says “It was so well planned but not executed as well as I could have wished due to discovery of a STOLEN wedding dress (meaning I had to source one from Topshop and embellish it), the HIDEOUS weather, and an unruly horse. I also had to drive to the location down a narrow country lane in a muddy Pajero with no 2nd gear!”

“However, at the end of the day we drank the props and all was well!”

“Needless to say on the drive home the next day the weather was glorious !”

There just isn’t enough words to desribe the amazingness of this shoot, each image just encapsulating the countryside farmyard feel.

And the shoot is “trashing ” in every sense of the word, down and dirty with just a little bit of a dangerous edge.

I am really in awe of Sarah pulling off the shoot against such challenges, and also the Bride who just mucked in.
